The Financial Analysts Journal has a long and proud tradition as a leading investment-practitioner forum in the industry. The FAJ also plays a key role in advancing the educational goal of CFA Institute by linking innovative researchers and thinkers to the broad practitioner community. CFA Institute is committed to supporting the FAJ's purpose and role, as defined in its mission statement, and to ensuring that the FAJ's policies and procedures comply with best practice for research journals. The goal of the Financial Analysts Journal is to advance the knowledge and understanding of the practice of investment management through the publication of high-quality, practitioner-relevant research. The FAJ should serve as a bridge between academic research and practice by seeking academically rigorous papers that have direct relevance to practitioners, a forum for presenting practitioner research, and a forum for the perspectives of leading practitioners, academics, and regulators about our industry.

First World War Studies is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that seeks to publish articles that explore comparative, trans-national, and multi-disciplinary strengths evident in the International Society for First World War Studies and pursue as its guiding principles the same intellectual assets. As the Society draws its strengths from graduate students to more experienced scholars, the journal is equally committed to a collegial academic forum open to any scholar irrespective of degree, academic seniority, or disciplinary affiliation. The journal approaches the subject of the First World War without chronological, geographic, or topical constraints. It embraces not merely the period associated with the years between 1914 and 1918, but seeks to include the diplomatic, political, social, cultural, and military complexities evident before, during, and most certainly after the cessation of hostilities. The journal will contribute significantly to the ongoing debates concerning the origins and causes, conduct, and implications of the First World War. First World War Studies is the only scholarly journal devoted to this extraordinary and controversial conflict and maintains an Editorial Board that consists of many internationally recognized scholars. Food and Foodways is a refereed, interdisciplinary, and international journal devoted to publishing original scholarly articles on the history and culture of human nourishment. By reflecting on the role food plays in human relations, this unique journal explores the powerful but often subtle ways in which food has shaped, and shapes, our lives socially, economically, politically, mentally, nutritionally, and morally. Because food is a pervasive social phenomenon, it cannot be approached by any one discipline. We encourage articles that engage dialogue, debate, and exchange across disciplines. Food and Foodways publishes work by anthropologists, biologists, economists, ethnobotanists, historians, literary critics, nutritionists, psychologists, sociologists, and others who use food as a lens of analysis. Forum for Development Studies was established in 1974, and soon became the leading Norwegian journal for development research. While this position has been consolidated, Forum has gradually become an international journal, with its main constituency in the Nordic countries. The journal is owned by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) and the Norwegian Association for Development Research.Forum aims to be a platform for development research broadly defined 8211; including the social sciences, economics, history and law. All articles are peer-reviewed. In order to maintain the journal as a meeting place for different disciplines, we encourage authors to communicate across disciplinary boundaries. Contributions that limit the use of exclusive terminology and frame the questions explored in ways that are accessible to the whole range of the Journal's readership will be given priority.We encourage articles with a solid empirical foundation, including empirical findings based on the practical implementation of development projects, but also contributions of a more theoretical nature. In particular, we welcome articles that explore new perspectives within development studies, and examine the implications of such theories for the study of development processes.

The Forum for Social Economics, founded in 1971, is a high-quality peer-reviewed (double-blind), international academic journal sponsored by the Association for Social Economics (ASE). It is committed to the development of social economics as a values-based, complex and policy-oriented science in the service of the common good.

The Forum Editors invite the submission of stimulating, original and clearly-written academic research papers (7,500 words maximum) on:

a) The central socioeconomic problems of our age, such as the state of communities, economic and financial crises, institutional and technological change, poverty/inequality, terrorism, conflict and climate change as well as gender, class and ethnic issues; 

b) Alternative measures and perspectives of socioeconomic performance, social network analysis, agent-based modelling and complexity economics; including approaches that endogenize social facts, well-being, quality of life, standard of living, provisioning, ecological sustainability, trust, institutional functioning, happiness and/or human development;

c) Policy issues, with the emphasis on how governance and institutional innovations can enhance coordination, cooperation, performance, justice, equity and trust for the common good.

The Forum is especially interested in papers that are realistic in their outlook, pluralistic in their approach, concerned with interdependent agents and take account of the institutional and evolutionary nature of the economy.

Since 1993, Gender & Development has aimed to promote, inspire, and support development policy and practice, which furthers the goal of equality between women and men. Contributors should bear in mind that they are addressing an international audience. The journal grew out of a feminist politics and is committed to developing the critical discussion of gender and education in its broadest sense. It is particularly interested in the place of gender in relation to other key social differences and seeks to further feminist knowledge, theory, consciousness, action and debate. We welcome contributions which examine and theorize the interrelated experiences of women and girls and men and boys, and how these shape and are shaped by other social differences. We expect articles to engage in feminist debate and to go beyond the simple description of what boys/men and girls/women do. Education will be interpreted in a broad sense to cover both formal and informal aspects, including nursery, primary and secondary education; youth cultures inside and outside schools; adult, community, further and higher education; vocational education and training; media education; parental education. Contributors are asked to avoid unnecessary or mystifying jargon and to use non-sexist and non-racist language. An international, refereed journal, Gender, Technology and Development serves as a forum for exploring the linkages between gender relations, development and/or technological change. The objective of the journal is to provide a platform for original research and theorizing on the shifting meanings of gender, as it relates to advances in science and technologies and/or to social, political, economic, and cultural change. In particular, the journal is interested in addressing these in the context of transnational phenomena and engaging in dialogues that cut across geographical boundaries. 

Geografisk Tidsskrift - Danish Journal of Geography ( GT-DJG ) is an interdisciplinary, international journal that publishes peer reviewed research articles on all aspects of geography. Coverage includes such topics as human geography, physical geography, human-environment interactions, Earth Observation, and Geographical Information Science. GT-DJG also welcomes articles which address geographical perspectives of e.g. environmental studies, development studies, planning, landscape ecology and sustainability science.In addition to full-length papers, GT-DJG publishes research notes. The journal has two annual issues. Authors from all parts of the world working within geography or related fields are invited to publish their research in the journal.

Geografiska Annaler, Series B, is a prestigious and international journal publishing articles covering all theoretical and empirical aspects of human and economic geography. The journal has no specific regional profile but some attention is paid to research from the Nordic countries, as well as from countries around the Baltic Sea. Also published by Wiley-Blackwell is Geografiska Annaler, Series A. Together these journals publish articles covering all theoretical and empirical aspects of physical (Series A) and human (Series B) geography. Although published in English, papers still retain a Scandinavian touch.

One of the world's leading scholarly periodicals devoted exclusively to geography, the Geographical Review contains original and authoritative articles on all aspects of geography. The 'Geographical Record' section presents short articles on current topical and regional issues. Each issue also includes reviews of recent books, monographs, and atlases in geography and related fields.

GeoHumanities was launched as a journal of the American Association of Geographers in 2015. It publishes original peer-reviewed articles that span conceptual and methodological debates in geography and the humanities; critical reflections on analog and digital artistic productions; and new scholarly interactions occurring at the intersections of geography and multiple humanities disciplines. 

GeoHumanities includes full length scholarly articles in the GeoHumanities Articles section and shorter creative pieces that cross over between the academy and creative practice in the Practices and Curations section.
