adsorption Science & Technology is a journal devoted to studies of adsorption and desorption phenomena, which publishes original research papers and critical review articles, with occasional special issues relating to particular topics and symposia. Recent issues have included studies of the pore structure and surface chemistry of active carbons, discussions of the application of the Dubinin-Radushkevich equation, the effect of cation-exchange on the sorption properties of zeolites, studies of the isosteric and differential heats of gas adsorption on microporous active carbons, and investigations of high-area manganese oxides by nitrogen adsorption.Ten issues a year are published. All papers and articles are subject to peer review before a decision is taken regarding their suitability and every effort is made to ensure their publication as quickly as possible.

Adult Education Quarterly (AEQ) is a quarterly scholarly refereed journal committed to advancing the understanding and practice of adult and continuing education. Advances in Mechanical Engineering is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of mechanical engineering.

Advances in Methods and Practices in Psychological Science publishes innovative developments in research methods, practices and conduct across the full range of areas and topics within psychological science. AMPPS publishes new types of empirical work that reflect the various approaches to research across the field. AMPPS encourages integration of methodological and analytical questions and brings the latest methodological advances to non-methodology experts across all areas of the field.

Launching in mid-2025,the fully open access Advances in Psychological Science Open (APSO) will be the seventh title in the APS journal portfolio.  

APSO will publish high-quality conceptual, theoretical, technical, and empirical articles and theoretical reviews across the full range of areas and topics in psychological science. Submission of integrative and interdisciplinary research is encouraged. APSO will be an online-only, continuous publication journal, and authors will be able to express themselves in a variety of formats, including longer-form empirical and theoretical articles and short reports. 

Advances in Structural Engineering provides a major publication channel for research in the area of structural engineering and an international forum for the exchange of innovative ideas. The research results reported in this journal cover all aspects of the analysis, behaviour, design and construction of civil engineering structures such as buildings, bridges, towers and masts, storage structures, and offshore platforms. As well as full-length papers, short technical notes, discussions, and book reviews are also published. Acceptance of a paper for publication in the journal is subjected to the manuscript being an unpublished work presenting a significant original contribution or an in-depth state-of-the-art review of a specific topic in structural engineering.

AFFILIA: Journal of Women and Social Work (AFF), published quarterly, is the only peer-reviewed, scholarly social work journal to address the concerns of social workers and their clients from a feminist point of view, offering a unique mix of research reports, new theory and creative approaches to the challenges confronting women.
