The International Health Trends and Perspectives (IHTP) journal is an academic, double-blind peer reviewed scientific journal housed within the Public Knowledge Project Open Journal Systems at Toronto Metropolitan University (Recently renamed) in Toronto, Canada. The IHTP’s mission is to increase dialogue and dissemination of theoretical, empirical, and practical knowledge related to the key topics of health and wellness from around the world.

Biotechnology Progress, an official, bimonthly publication of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and its technological community, the Society for Biological Engineering, features peer-reviewed research articles, reviews, and descriptions of emerging techniques for the development and design of new processes, products, and devices for the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and bioprocess industries.

Biotechnology Reports covers all aspects of Biotechnology particularly those reports that are useful and informative and that will be of value to other researchers in related fields. Biotechnology Reports loves ground breaking science, but will also accept good science that can be of use to the biotechnology community. The journal maintains a high quality peer review where submissions are considered on the basis of scientific validity and technical quality.

Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry has been published continuously since its creation in 1986 (previous to that date it was called the Journal of Applied Biochemistry and was published from 1979 to 1985). Today it enjoys a superb track record, attracting distinguished authors from academia and industry from all over the world, reflecting its international status. Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry is now published bi-monthly by Wiley-Blackwell, confirming the journal's dedication to change and commitment to rapid publication of high-quality, cutting-edge research at the interface between life sciences and their translation. It publishes new concepts in technology/methodology of relevance to the biological, biomedical, agricultural and environmental sciences. Promising advances in life sciences are leading to the identification of the molecular sources of disease and the creation of new generation of medicines for diseases for which there are currently either no therapies or inadequate treatments. Therapeutic proteins and antibodies are already having a significant impact in treatment of disease. Therapeutic genes and viruses promise to have an even bigger impact on human healthcare. DNA vaccine and gene-therapy are under intense development and new research areas such as tissue engineering, stem-cell therapeutics, germ-line therapy and regenerative medicines are expected to create a new wave of medicines that will make today's treatment of diseases look distinctively primitive. All this provides major challenges to life scientists and engineers engaged in discoveries and their translation to practical outcomes. Turning a new discovery into a successful application has become a highly integrated, multidisciplinary activity, and Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry is uniquely placed to provide an international forum for the dissemination of information and discussion by researchers working across the many subject groups. The journal welcomes submissions of original articles on the following topics: nucleic acids and proteins engineering and purification; genes peptides and proteins therapy; biomaterials; biological modeling; stem cells and tissue engineering; bio-imaging; bio-sensors; biotechnology of food and natural compounds. Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering is an international bimonthly journal published by the Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering. BGER is a well established hardcover annual reviews series from the National Centre for Macromolecular Hydrodynamics and published by Nottingham University Press. It benefits from the longstanding relationship of the NCMH with the Biotechnology Industry. Each volume contains approximately 13-17 original, major invited review articles covering important developments in industrial, agricultural and medical applications of Biotechnology (widest sense). Following requests from authors and readers, and to celebrate 25 years of the volume we have now moved to a Journal format.

Biotechnology for Biofuels is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal featuring high-quality studies describing technological and operational advances in the production of biofuels from biomass.

BIOTROPIA, the Southeast Asian Journal of Tropical Biology is a scientific publication of SEAMEO BIOTROP. It publishes articles in the broad areas of tropical ecosystems and environmental impacts, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, environmental and forest biotechnology, covering all aspects of the discipline of biology. Articles published in the journal are papers reporting results of original researches, reviews on spesific topics not available elsewhere in up-to-date form, and short communication in which advances in knowledge of significance are briefly announced.

Cellular Reprogramming is the premier journal dedicated to this rapidly evolving field. Advances in reprogramming cellular mechanisms are transforming biomedical research and offer new insights on the etiology, development, and potential treatment of various diseases. Regular articles should have a maximum total length of 6,000 words. In addition, a (combined) maximum of 8 normal-sized figures and/or tables is allowed (so for instance 3 tables and 5 figures). For multiple-panel figures each set of two panels equates to one figure. Short communications should not exceed half of the above. It is required to give on the article cover page a short statistical summary of the article listing the total number of words and tables/figures.

The Journal of Comparative Cytogenetics is a peer-reviewed, open-access, rapid online journal launched to accelerate research on all aspects of plant and animal cytogenetics, karyosystematics, and molecular systematics.All published papers can be freely copied, downloaded, printed and distributed at no charge for the reader. Authors are thus encouraged to post the pdf files of published papers on their homepages or elsewhere to expedite distribution. There is no charge for color.
