Journal Guide

The Journal of Gene Medicine publishes high quality original articles and reviews on the science of gene transfer and its applications in gene and cell therapy. Key areas of interest are the design and production of vectors, delivery and targeting, gene expression and regulation, preclinical studies including animal models, developmental aspects and clinical trials. The editors particularly welcome articles dealing with the methodological aspects of gene transfer in vivo, notably in the context of human studies. Papers presenting research into the mechanisms underlying gene transfer; the application and refinement of new technologies such as RNAi, stem cells and allied approaches such as DNA vaccines; or addressing more fundamental biological issues which could lead to more effective gene transfer are also encouraged. The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics, the official publication of the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP), co-published by the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP), seeks to publish high quality original papers on scientific advances in the translation and validation of molecular discoveries in medicine into the clinical diagnostic setting, and the description and application of technological advances in the field of molecular diagnostic medicine. The editors welcome for review articles that contain: novel discoveries or clinicopathologic correlations including studies in oncology, infectious diseases, inherited diseases, predisposition to disease, or the description or polymorphisms linked to disease states or normal variations; the application of diagnostic methodologies in clinical trials; or the development of new or improved molecular methods for diagnosis or monitoring of disease or disease predisposition.

A leading research journal in the field of pharmacology published since 1909, JPET provides broad coverage of all aspects of the interactions of chemicals with biological systems, including autonomic, behavioral, cardiovascular, cellular, clinical, developmental, gastrointestinal, immuno-, neuro-, pulmonary, and renal pharmacology, as well as analgesics, drug abuse, metabolism and disposition, chemotherapy, and toxicology.

The aim of this journal is to cultivate, promote and encourage advancement ofscientific dedication in the field of cell and chromosome research  in eukaryotes- physical, chemical, structural and functional. The scope of the journal has been extended further on eukaryotic genomics covering molecular genetics – both nuclear and organellar, though no doubt the emphasis will always be on Chromosome Dynamics. It is beneficial for students, teachers,research workers and all others interested in the study of cytology, genetics, molecular genomics and evolution in eukaryotic systems.
