Asia-Pacific Review analyzes global political, economic, security, energy and environmental issues, with specific emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region, and aims to provide readers with excellent insights on a variety of crucial topics.Published twice a year, Asia-Pacific Review was launched in 1994 by the Institute for International Policy Studies (IIPS), an independent, non-profit research institute founded in Tokyo by former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone. The institute examines critical issues facing the world and Japan from an independent standpoint. Asian Affairs covers the whole region of Asia - the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, South East Asia and East Asia. The Journal has a multi-disciplinary approach, which includes social, political and historical perspectives as well as contemporary affairs.

Editions of Asian Affairs generally consist of articles on specific countries, locales or historical episodes. Some articles are based on lectures to the Society. These and others are the fruit of academic research or the experiences of contributors. Biographical pieces and accounts of archaeological and historical travel have also been published. The editor welcomes contributions which fall within the overall framework of the Journal.

Asian Affairs also still maintains its character as a journal for Society members, with reports of Society activities and tours.

A substantial section of each issue consists of book reviews of new publications. The editor encourages offers to review relevant titles.

Asian Affairs: An American Review addresses issues that significantly affect political, economic, and security policies in both domestic and international contexts. The audience includes scholars, policymakers, government officials, business executives, and others engaged in contemporary studies of Asian countries, intra-Asian relations, and America's ties with the Asian region.

Asian Business & Management (ABM) is an academic general management and business journal, that is, we are in principle open to all disciplines and fields of research on management and business-subject to the condition that submissions must be related to Asia. We especially encourage papers that draw on one of the various streams of the business systems literature, broadly conceived, to generate new insights into the societal embeddedness of firms in Asia and the consequences of such embeddedness on managerial and business processes, structures, and outcomes. A rigorous double-blind peer review system, involving in-country and international refereeing, ensures that articles meet the highest standards of quality.

Asian Economic Papers promotes high-quality analyses of the economic issues central to Asian countries and offers creative solutions to the region's current problems by drawing on the work of economists worldwide. The journal comprises selected articles and summaries of discussions from the meetings of the Asian Economic Panel and provides a unique and useful resource to economists and informed non-specialists concerned with specific Asian issues, particular Asian economies, and interactions between Asia and other regions.AEP strives to anticipate developments that will affect Asian economies, encourage discussions of these trends, and explore individual country or regional responses that minimize negative repercussions on neighboring economies.AEP is especially interested in:* promoting discussion of financial and regulatory reform and regional cooperation;* identifying barriers to economic development in individual Asian countries and in the region as a whole, and finding new ways to overcome such obstacles;* analyzing the impacts of economic policies on social welfare to improve and ensure common prosperity and security in the region;* highlighting economic challenges stemming from the globalization of financial and nonfinancial markets, along with the measures needed to meet these challenges.

The goal of the Asian Economic Policy Review is to become an intellectual voice on the current issues of international economics and economic policy, based on comprehensive and in-depth analyses, with a primary focus on Asia. As such, articles in the Journal will not be purely academic research or political commentaries. Instead, stress will be placed on identifying key issues at the time - spanning international trade, international finance, the environment, energy, the integration of regional economies and other issues - in order to furnish ideas and proposals to contribute positively to the policy debate in the region. Although the principal focus is economic policy issues, when necessary and relevant, international relations papers will also be included.

Asian Journal of Political Science (AJPS) is an international refereed journal sponsored by the Department of Political Science, National University of Singapore. It is a leading journal that comprehensively examines politics and governance in Asia. It publishes original articles in major subfields of political science, especially comparative politics, international relations, political theory and public administration, with specific reference to Asian regions and countries. AJPS aims to address some of the most current political, diplomatic, and administrative issues facing Asian countries, especially those in East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Asian Politics & Policy is dedicated to publishing quality articles on issues related to the domestic and international affairs of Asia. The objective of the journal is to deepen readers’ understanding of political development and policy innovations in Asia, the growing trend of economic and political integration in East Asia, and the dynamic relations among Asian countries and between Asia and other parts of the world.

Asian Security aims to be the foremost journal on all aspects of the national and international security in Asia. The journal covers "traditional" issues such as interstate warfare, the regional balance of power, alliances and other multilateral security institutions, national defense policies, strategic culture, civil-military relations, nuclear proliferation, conventional arms racing, arms control, and conflict-prone areas. Articles in the Australian Journal of Politics and History explore the politics and history of Australia and modern Europe, intellectual history, political history, and the history of political thought. The journal also publishes articles in the fields of international politics, Australian foreign policy, and Australia's relations with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The editors welcome the contribution of shorter critical notices and research notes, and will endeavour to publish controversies and symposia. The journal invites expressions of interest in producing a single issue on a particular theme or topic of contemporary political and historical interest. Prospective guest editors should submit proposals to the editors.

Terrorism as a tactic has been used by political and ideological groups for thousands of years. Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression aims to address the complex causation and effects of terrorist activity by bringing together timely, consistently scientifically and theoretically sound papers addressing terrorism from a behavioral science perspective, (encompassing biological, evolutionary, developmental, ecological, personality, social, military, and neuroscience approaches to psychology). The journal is not intended as a forum for articles presenting policy or strategy analysis or those highly driven by opinion, but instead will publish empirical and theoretical papers, letters to the Editor and invited visionary pieces by leading experts in the field, which have a strong base in behavioral science research.
