The mission of Diabetes Spectrum: From Research to Practice is to assist health care professionals in the development of strategies to individualize treatment and diabetes self-management education for improved quality of life and diabetes control. These goals are achieved by presenting review as well as original, peer-reviewed articles on topics in clinical diabetes management, professional and patient education, nutrition, behavioral science and counseling, educational program development, and advocacy. In each issue, the FROM RESEARCH TO PRACTICE section explores, in depth, a diabetes care topic and provides practical application of current research findings.

Diabetes Therapy is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal focused on cutting-edge research in the prevention, treatment, management, and education of diabetes and related disorders including obesity and metabolic syndromes. Emphasis is placed on the publication of high-quality articles covering preclinical, clinical (phase 1-4), and postmarketing studies on new and existing therapies and devices. Pharmacoeconomic, epidemiological, outcomes, and quality of life studies are also encouraged, along with research relating to patient management and education. The journal aims to promote better management and care of patients with diabetes and provides expert opinion on current advances in the field.Diabetes Therapy publishes original research, reviews, case reports, and short communications.Diabetes Therapy publishes supplements and special issues (in English or a local language). Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolism is primarily a journal of clinical and experimental pharmacology and therapeutics covering the interrelated areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolism. The journal prioritises high-quality original research that reports on the effects of new or existing therapies, including dietary, exercise and lifestyle (non-pharmacological) interventions, in any aspect of metabolic and endocrine disease, either in humans or animal and cellular systems. 'Metabolism' may relate to lipids, bone and drug metabolism, or broader aspects of endocrine dysfunction. Preclinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetic studies, meta-analyses and those addressing drug safety and tolerability are also highly suitable for publication in this journal.
