Comprehensive Results in Social Psychology is devoted to publishing social psychological research using the registered report format where a plan for the research is submitted for initial review. The journal aims to foster empirical debate, testing of theories, scientific discovery, and replications, all under the auspices of open scientific communication and exchange.

If the plan for research is accepted as being methodologically sound and theoretically important, authors are guaranteed publication of the manuscript irrespective of the outcome of data analysis. In this way, the journal offers the opportunity to publish crucial research questions and ideas to be reviewed before the data are obtained and to be published independent of the outcome of the research. Thereby the journal aims to improve the science of psychology. Results of registered reports are published in full and can be complemented by exploratory results.

Suitable topics cover the whole range of contemporary social psychology from any theoretical approach, and can be either fundamental or applied. We also welcome submissions from adjacent disciplines that draw on social psychological methods and theorizing.

The journal especially welcomes cooperative submissions (e.g., when different theoretical approaches make opposing predictions), research in which reliable and well-specified conditions are set to allow for discovery, and submissions bridging cultural contexts.

Comprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety (CRFSFS) is one of the peer-reviewed on-line journals of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). It has been published quarterly since 2002 (www.ift.org). Review papers provide in-depth coverage of a narrowly defined topic on any food science or food safety aspect, including nutrition, engineering, microbiology, sensory evaluation, physiology, genetics, economics, regulations, and history. A typical review embodies careful assessment of all pertinent studies (weaknesses, strengths, discrepancies in findings) so that insightful, integrative interpretations, summaries, and conclusions are presented. For either an unsolicited or an invited manuscript authors should submit to the Scientific Editor a suitable title, a brief outline, and a short statement describing the importance of the topic and how the presentation will advance food science and food technology. AIM of IFT Peer-Reviewed Publications The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), the professional society of food science and technology, is committed to the continued improvement and accessibility of its peer-reviewed journals. Collectively, the IFT believes that peer-reviewed journals must have a high priority in any scientific society, and specifically for IFT in order for the society to remain a credible source of science-based information. IFT publishes scientific journals to provide its members and the larger scientific community with scientific information that is important and of current interest. This is done in accord with the highest standards of professional ethics. Research papers serve to convey the results of original work that has a clear relationship to human foods or the teaching of food science. Review papers serve to convey in-depth interpretive coverage of topics of current importance. Acceptability of articles for publication is carefully considered, with quality of the science, appropriateness, and importance weighing heavily in the final decision.

The Comptes rendus Biologies publish monthly communications dealing with all biological and medical research fields (biological modelling, development and reproduction biology, cell biology, biochemistry, neurosciences, immunology, pharmacology, ecology, etc.).Articles are preferably written in English. Articles in French with an abstract in English are accepted.

Comptes rendus Geoscience (12 issues per year) cover all the domains of Earth Sciences: external geophysics, climate and environment, internal geophysics, geomaterials, geochemistry, surface geosciences, oceanography, stratigraphy, tectonics, geodynamics, history of sciences. The 'Perspective' heading gathers short articles written by scientists collaborating with the Editorial Board, specialists of the topic under consideration.Articles are preferably written in English, with a French Abstract. Articles in French including an abridged English version, at least one page long, are accepted.

The Comptes rendus Mathematique cover all fields of the discipline: Logic, Combinatorics, Number Theory, Group Theory, Mathematical Analysis, (Partial) Differential Equations, Geometry, Topology, Dynamical systems, Mathematical Physics, Mathematical Problems in Mechanics, Signal Theory, Mathematical Economics,...The articles published are short, original notes describing briefly an important discovery, or a new result. These can be in either English or in French, with an abstract in both languages. An abridged version of the main text in the second language may also be included.

Comptes Rendus Palevol is a fully electronic and peer-reviewed journal, with a continuous publication stream, devoted to palaeontology, prehistory and evolutionary sciences. It publishes original research results, in French or English, in the following domains: systematic and human palaeontology, prehistory, evolutionary biology and macroevolution, and history of sciences.

Comptes rendus Physique: thematic issues oriented towards a rapid, targeted diffusion of research results.The Comptes rendus Physique (10 issues per year) cover all fields of Physics and Astrophysics, and propose thematic issues. Because of this format, readers find, in each issue, the presentation of a field of research which is in particularly fast development. A monthly publication, giving fresh news of recent innovations in Mechanics.The Comptes rendus Mecanique cover all fields of Mechanics: Dynamical Systems, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Acoustics, Wave Motion, Control Theory, Signal Processing,...The articles published are short, original notes describing briefly an important discovery, or a new theory. Since this is a monthly publication, significant results are published rapidly, generally two to three months after being accepted. Articles can be in either English or in French, with an abstract in both languages. An abridged version of the main text in the second language may also be included.
