ACS Materials Letters publishes high-quality and urgent papers on the forefront of fundamental and applied research at the interface between materials and other disciplines, such as chemistry, engineering, and biology. Papers that showcase multidisciplinary and innovative materials research addressing global challenges are especially welcome. Research areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Design, synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of forefront and emerging materials
• Understanding of structure, property, performance relationships and their underlying mechanisms
• Development of materials for energy, environmental, biomedical, electronic, and catalysis applications

ACS Materials Letters is dedicated to publishing the most transformative materials research with very fast processing times.

With the launch of ACS Materials Letters, Chemistry of Materials and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces will focus exclusively upon publishing full articles and have ceased publishing Letters/Communications.

BMC Marine Science is an open access, peer-reviewed journal publishing interdisciplinary research in all areas of marine science, advancing the understanding, conservation and also sustainable use of marine environments. The journal welcomes submissions from a diverse range of topics, including marine ecology and environmental research, sustainability and conservation, aquatic biology, marine pollution and toxicology, impact of climate change on marine ecosystems, aquatic botany and plant management, estuarine and coastal research, diseases of aquatic organisms, molluscan and shellfish research, fish biology and biofouling.

Aligned with the objectives of the United Nations sustainable Development goals, BMC Marine Science encourages submissions focused on life below water (SDG14). In particular, the journal aims to promote research into reducing marine pollution, protecting marine ecosystems and minimizing ocean acidification.

To publish articles, essays and research results, recognizing the importance of debate bringing together ideas, themes, subjects for comparison with research results for the construction of critical thinking in the social sciences.

The IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis (IMAJNA) publishes original contributions to all fields of numerical analysis; articles will be accepted which treat the theory, development or use of practical algorithms and interactions between these aspects. Occasional survey articles are also published.

Materials Letters is dedicated to publishing novel, cutting edge reports of broad interest to the materials community.
