The IJIO is an international venture that aims at full coverage of theoretical and empirical questions in industrial organization. This includes classic questions of strategic behavior and market structure. The journal also seeks to publish articles dealing with technological change, internal organization of firms, regulation, antitrust and productivity analysis. Today, as never before, firms are realising they must work to effectively manage the domestic and international supply of products and services into, through, and out of their firms to customers. Ultimately, effectively-integrated supply management results in lower costs, higher quality, better customer service, and higher profits for the organisation, its suppliers and its distributors. IJISM addresses all disciplines regarding supply integration issues throughout the firm and its domestic and international supply chain partners.

Major catalysts, e.g. deregulation, global competition, technological breakthroughs, changing customer expectations, structural changes, excess capacity, environmental concerns, less protectionism, etc., are reshaping the landscape of corporations worldwide. Assumptions about predictability, stability and clear boundaries are becoming less valid as two key actors have a clear impact on the nature of competitive space: agents with knowledge and interactions. IJIE covers new concepts of strategy and organisation as competitiveness of companies increasingly depends upon exploiting the new strategic potentials of intellect/service technologies.

The field of knowledge-based development faces the major challenge of making concrete and relevant contributions to the amelioration of societies (i.e. creating a knowledge society) and not solely to the promotion of competitive advantage for businesses. IJKBD serves as a multi-disciplinary platform with a systems approach to the theory and practice of knowledge-based development activities and processes, focusing on knowledge cities and societies, knowledge-based urban development, knowledge and innovation clusters, and knowledge-intensive service activities.

International Journal of Leadership in Education: Theory & Practice is an international journal for the publication of theoretical and practical discussions of educational leadership. The Journal presents:cutting-edge writing on educational leadership, including instructional supervision, curriculum and teaching development, staff development, educational administration and more;an alternative voice: reports of alternative theoretical perspectives, alternative methodologies, and alternative experiences of leadership;a broad definition of leadership, including teachers-as-leaders, shared governance, site-based decision making, and community-school collaborations;an international medium for the publication of theoretical and practical discussions of educational leadership, across a range of approaches, as these relate to ethical, political, epistemological and philosophical issues;a forum for researchers and 'practitioner-researchers' to consider conceptual, methodological, and practical issues in a range of professional and service settings and sectors. Each edition of the journal will be divided into three main sections:1. ResearchThis section will contain peer-reviewed 'reflexive' theoretically-based papers (around 5000-8000 words), debating and exploring theoretical and methodological issues, across a range of disciplines, methodological approaches and substantive topics. In addition, as the Editor deems appropriate, overview or review articles will be commissioned from a leading author, discussing debates or the state of the art in relation to an area of educational leadership.2. PracticeThis section will contain shorter pieces from both academics and other practitioners (around 2000-5000 words) concerned with the application of research methodology among a range of professional and service sectors (for example, action research and practitioner research). These papers will be subject to peer or editorial review, as appropriate.3.
