The Brazilian Journal of Geology is intended to disseminate scientific themes of wide interest and original character related to Geosciences of Brazil and neighboring countries, including modern processes and new field and laboratory techniques.
The British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies is a refereed academic journal published for the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (popularly known as BRISMES). Founded in 1974 as the BRISMES Bulletin, the British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies assumed its present title in 1991 reflecting its growth into a fully-fledged scholarly journal. The editors aim to maintain a balance in the journal's coverage between the modern social sciences and the more traditional disciplines associated with Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. They welcome scholarly contributions on all aspects of the Middle East from the end of classical antiquity and the rise of Islam to the present day. Articles on the language, literature, history, politics, economics, anthropology, sociology, geography, philosophy and the religions and cultures of the region are encouraged. The British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies also includes a vigorous review section covering publications on all subjects connected with the Middle East. This incorporates a wide range of reference and bibliographical material seldom reviewed elsewhere.Peer Review StatementAll research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening, anonymisation of submitted articles and refereeing by two referees who themselves remain anonymous. All review papers, book reviews and guest lectures printed in this journal have undergone editorial screening. The Bulletin of Canadian Petroleum Geology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published four times a year and sent internationally to 3,500 geologists and subscribers.
Bulletin of Earthquake Engineering presents original, peer-reviewed papers on research related to the broad spectrum of earthquake engineering. The journal offers a forum for presentation and discussion of such matters as European damaging earthquakes, new developments in earthquake regulations, and national policies applied after major seismic events, including strengthening of existing buildings.Coverage includes seismic hazard studies and methods for mitigation of risk; earthquake source mechanism and strong motion characterization and their use for engineering applications; geological and geotechnical site conditions under earthquake excitations; cyclic behavior of soils; analysis and design of earth structures and foundations under seismic conditions; zonation and microzonation methodologies; earthquake scenarios and vulnerability assessments; earthquake codes and improvements, and much more. This is the Official Publication of the European Association for Earthquake Engineering.
The Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment reports on the investigation, study and solution of engineering and environmental problems arising from the interaction between geology and the activities of humanity, as well as measures for the prevention or remediation of geological hazards. This is the official journal of the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment. The journal discusses the geomorphology, structure, stratigraphy, lithology and ground water conditions of geological formations; characterisation of the mineralogical, physico-geomechanical, chemical and hydraulic properties of earth materials involved in construction, resource recovery and environmental change; assessment of the mechanical and hydrological behaviour of soil and rock masses; prediction of changes to the above properties with time; determination of the parameters to be considered in analyzing the stability of engineering works and earth masses; maintenance of the environmental condition and p

The Bulletin of Volcanology publishes papers on volcanoes, their products, their eruptive behavior, and their hazards. Papers aimed at understanding the deeper structure of volcanoes, and the evolution of magmatic systems using geochemical, petrological, and geophysical techniques are also published. The journal is organized in three main sections: Research articles, including occasional reviews; Short scientific communications; and a Forum providing for discussion of controversial issues and for comment and reply on previously published Research articles and Short scientific communications.Bulletin of Volcanology was founded in 1922, as Bulletin Volcanologique, and is the official journal of the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI).
The official organ of the society, devoted to editorials, topical reports to members, articles, professional and membership news, conference announcements, programs and summaries, book reviews, and society activities.
Online publications grouped under the aegis "Geoscience e-Journals" (a former web ring converted into a genuine portal) incorporate those peer-reviewed electronic journals dedicated to open access publishing in the field of Earth Sciences (geochemistry, geophysics, paleontology, regional geology, stratigraphy, geography, etc.), that is those e-journals that permit free online access to all or at least a major part of their current issue and/or archives.
