The AAPG Bulletin is a technical journal that is recognized in the industry as the leading peer-reviewed publication for information on geoscience and the associated technology of the energy industry. The Bulletin is received monthly online or in print by all members.

Acta Montanistica Slovaca publishes high quality articles on basic and applied research in such fields as geology and geological survey, mining, earth resources, underground engineering and geotechnics, mining mechanization, mining transport, deep hole drilling, surveying and engineering geodesy, ecotechnology and mineralurgy, process control, automation and applied informatics in raw materials extraction, utilization and processing, and in other similar fields.

The African Journal of Emergency Medicine (AfJEM) is the official journal of the African Federation for Emergency Medicine. It is an international, peer-reviewed journal aimed in particular at supporting emergency care across Africa. AfJEM publishes original research, reviews, brief reports of scientific investigations, case reports as well as commentary and correspondence related to topics of scientific, ethical, social and economic importance to emergency care in Africa. Articles will be of direct importance to African emergency care, but may have originated from elsewhere in the world.

Applied Geochemistry is an international journal devoted to publication of original research papers, rapid research communications and selected review papers in geochemistry and urban geochemistry which have some practical application to an aspect of human endeavour, such as the preservation of the environment, health, waste disposal and the search for resources. Papers on applications of inorganic, organic and isotope geochemistry and geochemical processes are therefore welcome provided they meet the main criterion. Aquatic Geochemistry provides a medium for the publication of original studies broadly relating to the geochemistry of natural waters and their interactions with rocks and minerals under relatively near Earth-surface conditions. Coverage includes theoretical, experimental, and modeling papers dealing with this subject area, as well as papers presenting observations of natural systems that stress major processes. The journal also presents `letter'-type papers for rapid publication and a limited number of review-type papers on topics of particularly broad interest or current major controversy.

Astronomy and Geophysics (A&G) seeks to publish concise reviews of recent scientific progress, written by active researchers and those involved in the development of the field. We are looking for overviews of cutting-edge research that enable astronomers and geophysicists to keep up with developments in different fields. Potential authors should contact the Editor (s.bowler@leeds.ac.uk). We also seek short news items, topical and relevant to the interests of professional astronomers and geophysicists, letters on matters of interest to the community, and brief reports from meetings. Obituaries of distinguished fellows of the RAS and others are published in A&G; the RAS Council selects subjects and authors.

The Bulletin of Canadian Petroleum Geology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published four times a year and sent internationally to 3,500 geologists and subscribers.

The Bulletin of Volcanology publishes papers on volcanoes, their products, their eruptive behavior, and their hazards. Papers aimed at understanding the deeper structure of volcanoes, and the evolution of magmatic systems using geochemical, petrological, and geophysical techniques are also published. The journal is organized in three main sections: Research articles, including occasional reviews; Short scientific communications; and a Forum providing for discussion of controversial issues and for comment and reply on previously published Research articles and Short scientific communications.Bulletin of Volcanology was founded in 1922, as Bulletin Volcanologique, and is the official journal of the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI).

The Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America (ISSN 0037-1106) is the premier journal of advanced research in earthquake seismology and related disciplines. It first appeared in 1911 and was issued on a quarterly basis until 1963. Since 1963, it has appeared bimonthly (in February, April, June, August, October, and December). Each issue is composed of scientific papers on the various aspects of seismology, including investigation of specific earthquakes, theoretical and observational studies of seismic waves, inverse methods for determining the structure of the Earth or the dynamics of the earthquake source, seismometry, earthquake hazard and risk estimation, seismotectonics, and earthquake engineering. In addition to full-length papers, each issue contains a section of "Short Notes" for comments on previously published items or for brief, topical contributions.

Chemical Geology (including Isotope Geoscience) is an international journal that publishes original research papers on the isotopic and elemental geochemistry and geochronology of the Earth. The Journal is concerned with chemical processes in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary petrology, low- and high-temperature aqueous solutions, biogeochemistry and the environment.Papers that are field, experimentally, or computationally based are all appropriate providing they are of broad international interest.
