Landscape and Ecological Engineering is published by the International Consortium of Landscape and Ecological Engineering with the aim of protecting and improving the environment in the face of biodiversity loss, desertification, global warming, and other environmental conditions. The journal presents original papers, reports, reviews and technical notes on all aspects of conservation, restoration, and management of ecosystems. Its scope is not limited to purely scientific approaches, but welcomes technological and design approaches that provide useful and practical solutions to today's environmental problems. The coverage is relevant to students and researchers at universities and institutes, while its emphasis on the practical application of research will interest all decision makers dealing with landscape planning and management problems. Landscape and Urban Planning is an international journal aimed at advancing conceptual, scientific, and applied understandings of landscape in order to promote sustainable solutions for landscape change. Landscapes are visible and integrative social-ecological systems with variable spatial and temporal dimensions. They have expressive aesthetic, natural, and cultural qualities that are perceived and valued by people in multiple ways and invite actions resulting in landscape change. Landscapes are increasingly urban in nature and ecologically and culturally sensitive to changes at local through global scales. Multiple disciplines and perspectives are required to understand landscapes and align social and ecological values to ensure the sustainability of landscapes. The journal is based on the premise that landscape science linked to planning and design can provide mutually supportive outcomes for people and nature.Landscape science brings landscape ecology and urban ecology together with other disciplines and cross-disciplinary fields to identify patterns and understand social-ecological processes influencing landscape change. Landscape planning brings landscape architecture, urban and regional planning, landscape and ecological engineering, and other practice-oriented fields to bear in processes for identifying problems and analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating desirable alternatives for landscape change. Landscape design brings plans, designs, management prescriptions, policies and other activities and form-giving products to bear in effecting landscape change. The implementation of landscape planning and design also generates new patterns of evidence and hypotheses for further research, providing an integral link with landscape science and encouraging transdisciplinary collaborations to build robust knowledge and problem solving capacity.

The North American Journal of Fisheries Management is intended to promote communication among managers, the journal addresses the maintenance, enhancement, and allocation of fisheries resources. Its contents chronicle the development of practical monitoring and management programs for finfish and exploitable shellfish in marine and freshwater environments. Contributions relate to the way species, habitats, and harvests may be managed to protect and enhance fish and fishery resources for societal benefits. Case histories of successes, failures, and side effects of fisheries programs help convey practical management experience to others.

Ocean & Coastal Management is an international journal published 12 times per year dedicated to the study of all aspects of ocean and coastal management at international, national, regional, and local levels.Sustainable development and conservation of ocean and coastal resources requires the insights of a number of monodisciplinary, multidisciplinary as well as integral studies and approaches. The different disciplines may range from the natural and physical sciences to the social sciences, policy analysis, economics, and law.Articles from all relevant disciplines are invited, but all contributions must make clear the explicit link between fundamental concepts and the central improvement of management practice.Comparative studies (e.g. sub-national, cross-national, to other policy areas) are encouraged, as are studies assessing current management approaches. Ocean Development and International Law is devoted to all aspects of international and comparative law and policy concerning the management of ocean use and activities. It focuses on the international aspects of ocean regulation, ocean affairs, and all forms of ocean utilization.
