The Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance (JGAR) is a quarterly online journal run by an international Editorial Board that focuses on the global spread of antibiotic-resistant microbes. The Journal aims to track the resistance threat worldwide and to give a comprehensive view of how infectious disease experts are challenging the problem.Featuring peer-reviewed and up to date articles, reviews and short notes JGAR will cover the topical aspects of antimicrobial resistance proposing themes on:resistance mechanisms and gene transfer;antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic resistance;microbiological and clinical studies stewardship;resistance to disinfectants;microbicides;antimicrobial resistance testing detection and diagnostic;PK/PD and resistancesurveillance studies of resistant pathogens affecting humans at the global level, isolated from different hosts and environments.

The Journal of Medical Microbiology (JMM) provides high-quality comprehensive coverage of medical, dental and veterinary microbiology and infectious diseases, including bacteriology, virology, mycology and parasitology. Papers are published in the following areas: Pathogenicity and virulence; Host response; Diagnostics, typing and identification; Antimicrobial agents and chemotherapy; Epidemiology; Clinical microbiology and virology; Veterinary microbiology; Oral microbiology; Models of infection; and Human and animal microbial ecology. JMM also publishes Editorials, Reviews, Case reports and Correspondence articles.

The Journal of Microbiological Methods publishes scholarly and original articles, notes and review articles. These articles must include novel and/or state-of-the-art methods, or significant improvements to existing methods. Novel and innovative applications of current methods that are validated and useful will also be published. JMM strives for scholarship, innovation and excellence. This demands scientific rigour, the best available methods and technologies, correctly replicated experiments/tests, the inclusion of proper controls, calibrations, and the correct statistical analysis. Manuscripts dealing with simple identification of microorganism(s), cloning of a known gene and its expression in a microbial host, and clinical statistics will not be considered for publication by JM.
