East European Jewish Affairs (formerly Soviet Jewish Affairs) is an interdisciplinary journal which is essential for an understanding of the position and prospects of Jews in the former Soviet Union and the countries of East-Central Europe. It deals with issues in historical perspective and in the context of general, social, economic, political, and cultural developments in the region. The journal includes analytical, in-depth articles; review articles; archival documents; conference notes; and annotated books. From 1 January 2000 East European Jewish Affairs has been published under the aegis of the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies, University College London and the Oxford Institute for Yiddish Studies. As the official publication of the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), Eighteenth-Century Studies is committed to publishing the best of current writing on all aspects of eighteenth-century culture. Interesada en dar a conocer el rico y complejo universo de saberes, creencias y prácticas mayas desde el surgimiento de esta cultura hasta la actualidad, la revista admite trabajos de corte histórico en sus distintas manifestaciones, y antropológico en todas sus disciplinas (Arqueología, Antropologías Física y Social, Etnología, Lingüística, Etnohistoria), Epigrafía, Iconografía, etc., sin desdeñar la publicación de textos dedicados a otros campos de la ciencia que se vinculen con el mundo maya. Race, ethnicity and nationalism are at the heart of many of the major social and political issues in the present global environment. New antagonisms have emerged which require a rethinking of traditional theoretical and empirical perspectives. Ethnography and Education is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles illuminating educational practices through empirical methodologies, which prioritise the experiences and perspectives of those involved.
