International Journal of American Linguistics is a world forum for the study of all the languages native to North, Central, and South America. Inaugurated by Franz Boas in 1917, IJAL concentrates on the investigation of linguistic data and on the presentation of grammatical fragments and other documents relevant to Amerindian languages.

The International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology publishes cutting edge applied research and development work focused on commercialization of engineered ceramics, products and processes. The publication also explores the barriers to commercialization, design and testing, environmental health issues, international standardization activities, databases, and cost models. Designed to get high quality information to end-users quickly, the peer process is led by an editorial board of experts from industry, government, and universities. Each issue focuses on a high-interest, high-impact topic plus includes a range of papers detailing applications of ceramics. Papers on all aspects of applied ceramics are welcome including those in the following areas:.

IJADS promotes integration of functional and behavioural areas of business with concepts and methodologies of decision sciences and information systems, with explicit focus on modelling and applied decision-making. It offers practical guidance bridging the gap between theory and practice and draws on a wide range of disciplines, including accounting, decision sciences/management science, finance, information systems, marketing, operations/business process and strategic/organisational management. IJADS is the flagship journal of Alpha Iota Delta, the international honour society in decision sciences and information systems.

Since the scope is large, contributions should be of the highest quality. Some will convey important recommendations for environmental management and governance. Contributions that expand existing methodology in image analysis, spatial statistics and logic are welcome. We encourage 'Discussion' articles that stimulate dialogue between earth observation studies and managers in a statistically sound way and 'Review' articles that provide an overview of scientific developments in a particular scientific domain in recent years.

Papers addressing these topics in the context of the social fabric and economic constraints of developing countries are particularly welcome.

The journal is the successor of the former ITC Journal, and has been published by Elsevier since 2002.
