Cell Proliferation is a journal devoted to studies into all aspects of cell proliferation and differentiation in normal and abnormal states; control systems and mechanisms operating at inter- and intracellular, molecular and genetic levels; modification by and interactions with chemical and physical agents; mathematical modelling; and the development of new techniques. In addition to original research papers Cell Proliferation publishes invited review articles, book reviews and letters commenting on previously published papers and/or topics of general interest.

Cell Regeneration is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes novel research articles as well as in depth reviews in modern biology, especially in the field of stem cell and regenerative biology, and regenerative medicine. The journal is supported by the Guangzhou Institute of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, who covers the cost of publication on behalf of the authors upon acceptance of their article.

The journal publishes theoretical and research papers on cognitive brain development, from infancy through childhood and adolescence and into adulthood. It covers neurocognitive development and neurocognitive processing in both typical and atypical development, including social and affective aspects. Appropriate methodologies for the journal include, but are not limited to, functional neuroimaging (fMRI and MEG), electrophysiology (EEG and ERP), NIRS and transcranial magnetic stimulation, as well as other basic neuroscience approaches using cellular models that directly address cognitive brain development, patient studies, case studies, post-mortem studies and pharmacological studies. Note that we are no longer considering animal models.

Cell Reports Medicine is a premium open-access journal from Cell Press publishing cutting-edge research in translational and clinical biomedical sciences that inform and influence human health and medicine.

The content published in Cell Reports Medicine reaches a broad range of scientists and clinicians across the spectrum of medical disciplines, ensuring that your work will be both visible and accessible. The journal publishes original research that ranges from exciting concepts in human biology, health, and disease to all phases of clinical work. We encourage submissions featuring innovative ideas that open up new directions in clinical research and practice, as well as studies that provide critical information that enriches our understanding of current standards of care in diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. Cell Reports Methods is an open access, multidisciplinary journal from Cell Press publishing significant methodological advances of broad interest. The primary criterion for publication in Cell Reports Methods is a robust, reproducible method that will spur scientific progress. We will also consider papers presenting a new tool or set of reagents that will be of significant utility and interest to the community. Cell Reports Methods publishes shorter, single-point stories, called Reports, in addition to a longer Article format. Areas of interest include innovations in sequencing and imaging technologies, genome editing, single-molecule approaches, computational methods, biotechnology, and synthetic biology.

The journal’s scope includes systems at all scales8212;from molecules, pathways, cells, and tissues to whole organisms, populations, and ecosystems8212;and a diversity of traditional disciplines, including but not limited to microbiology, cancer, immunology, plant biology, computational biology, genomics, proteomics, translational medicine, digital healthcare, biological engineering, and systems and synthetic biology.

In addition to peer-reviewed research, Cell Systems publishes Reviews, Previews, and Commentaries covering research topics and broader societal issues related to the scope of the journal. Through services that rise to the challenges inherent in quantitative system-scale studies, the journal aims to publish and facilitate research for our communities of readers and authors.

Cell Transplantation publishes original, peer-reviewed research and review articles on the subject of cell transplantation and its application to human diseases. To ensure high-quality contributions from all areas of transplantation, separate section editors and editorial boards have been established. Articles deal with a wide range of topics including physiological, medical, preclinical, tissue engineering, and device-oriented aspects of transplantation of nervous system, endocrine, growth factor-secreting, bone marrow, epithelial, endothelial, and genetically engineered cells, among others. Basic clinical studies and immunological research papers are also featured. To provide complete coverage of this revolutionary field, Cell Transplantation will report on relevant technological advances, and ethical and regulatory considerations of cell transplants. Cell Transplantation is now an Open Access journal starting with volume 18 in 2009, and therefore there will be an inexpensive publication charge, which is dependent on the number of pages, in addition to the charge for color figures. This will allow work to be disseminated to a wider audience and also entitle the corresponding author to a free PDF, as well as prepublication of an unedited version of the manuscript.

Cell and Tissue Banking provides a forum for disseminating information to scientists and clinicians involved in the banking and transplantation of cells and tissues. Cell and Tissue Banking is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers in such areas as quality assurance and control of banked cells and tissues; preservation and sterilization methods; clinical applications of banked cells and tissues; standards of practice in procurement, processing, storage and distribution; and ethical and medico-legal issues. Research is presented in the form of full-length papers describing original work; short communications for rapid publication; and mini- and full-length reviews of topical issues.

The journal publishes papers on vast aspects of cell research, including morphology, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, molecular biology, immunology. The journal accepts original experimental studies, theoretical articles suggesting novel principles and approaches, presentations of new hypotheses, reviews highlighting major developments in cell biology, discussions. The main objective of the journal is to provide a competent representation and integration of research made on cells (animal and plant cells, both in vivo and in cell culture) offering insight into the structure and functions of live cells as a whole. Characteristically, the journal publishes articles on biology of free-living and parasitic protists, which, unlike Metazoa, are eukaryotic organisms at the cellular level of organization.

Cell and Tissue Research presents regular articles and reviews in the areas of molecular, cell, and supracellular biology. In particular, the journal provides a forum for publishing data that analyze the supracellular, integrative actions of gene products and their impact on the formation of tissue structure and function. Articles emphasize structure-function relationships as revealed by recombinant molecular technologies. Areas of research with a long-standing tradition of publishing in Cell & Tissue Research include: neurobiology, neuroendocrinology, endocrinology, reproductive biology, skeletal and immune systems, and development.
