Computer-Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering is a scholarly peer-reviewed archival journal intended to act as a bridge between advances being made in computer technology and civil and infrastructure engineering. It provides a unique form for publication of original articles on novel computational techniques and innovative applications of computers. The journal specially focuses on recent advances in computer and information technologies and fosters the development and application of new and emerging computing paradigms and technologies. The scope of the journal includes bridge, construction, environmental, highway, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering, and management of infrastructure systems such as highways, bridges, pavements, airports, and utilities. Computer-Aided Design is a leading international journal that provides academia and industry with key papers on research and developments in the application of computers to design.

Computer-Aided Design invites papers reporting new research, as well as novel or particularly significant applications, within a wide range of topics, spanning all stages of design process from concept creation to manufacture and beyond. Examples of relevant topics include but are not limited to:

Contributions are welcome from all disciplines, provided that they have a significant geometric, topological, spatial, or configuration design content, and present developments likely to be of interest to a broad spectrum of researchers, educators, and practitioners of computer-aided design.

Types of Papers:

Research papers: will report significant research and development results, describe the relevant theoretical foundations and the methodology, and present workable algorithms and give examples taken from real world applications, stressing the significance of the approach being presented.

Application papers: will describe complex and pioneering applications of CAD concepts, methods and tools in practice, present significant results that extend the disciplinary knowledge and/or analyze the application in a way that is likely to stimulate and influence further research.

Survey papers: will critically analyze the current state of knowledge in a given field of CAD, summarize and organize recent research results in a novel way, derive new insights and add understanding to working in the field, and propose possible topics, orientations and approaches for future research and development.

Technical notes: will respond to material published in the journal or closely related topics, repair a flaw in the definition and approach or stimulate further thinking, or provide additional technical details on a CAD theory, technology, methodology, product or application.

The purpose of the journal Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics is to act as a source for the exchange of information concerning the medical use of new developments in imaging diagnosis, intervention, and follow up. Included in the journal will be articles on new medical scanning techniques, image-guided therapy, computer-aided diagnosis, robotic surgery and imaging, augmented-reality medical visualization, imaging genomics, reports of new advances in imaging modalities, and all other information related to the application of computerized radiology, oncology, and surgery. In addition, information on non-medical modes of imaging that have medical applications such as confocal and multi-photon microscopy, optical microendoscope, photoacoustic imaging, infra-red radiation, and other imaging modalities would be welcomed.The journal is a vehicle for the rapid publication of original research papers and review articles in the field of computerized medical imaging and graphics. Computers (ISSN 2073-431X) is an international, open access journal which provides an advanced forum for computer sciences. It publishes reviews, regular research papers and short communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. Computers & Fluids is multidisciplinary. The term 'fluid' is interpreted in the broadest sense. Hydro- and aerodynamics, high-speed and physical gas dynamics, turbulence and flow stability, multiphase flow, rheology, tribology and fluid-structure interaction are all of interest, provided that computer technique plays a significant role in the associated studies or design methodology.Applications will be found in most branches of engineering and science: mechanical, civil, chemical, aeronautical, medical, geophysical, nuclear and oceanographic. These will involve problems of air, sea and land vehicle motion and flow physics, energy conversion and power, chemical reactors and transport processes, ocean and atmospheric effects and pollution, biomedicine, noise and acoustics, and magnetohydrodynamics amongst others.The development of numerical methods relevant to fluid flow computations, computational analysis of flow physics and fluid interactions and novel applications to flow systems and to design are pertinent to Computers & Fluids.

Computers & Geosciences publishes high impact, original research at the interface between Computer Sciences and Geosciences. For instance, a mining paper only dealing with transport problems, a geotechnical paper on lab experiments, or a paper on rockbolting, would be considered unsuitable.Code and Data:Computers & Geosciences aims to publish code and supporting data from accepted manuscripts using state-of-the-art technologies. Code should be original and demonstrate a development in research. It should also have clear design and be reproducible, reusable, extensible and maintainable. The journal uses the github.com platform (search for: CAGEO) which allows the community to publish, maintain, update and comment on published code and data.Paper Types:Original research article (5,000 words): Providing a novel and original contribution to the scientific fields of study outlined above.Application article (5,000 words): Describing a real-world case study on the scientific fields of study outlined above.Scientific review article (10,000 words): Critically describing the state-of-the art of applications of computer science in the geosciences, as a stand-alone contribution or to frame a special issue. Criteria for assessment shall be: completeness, depth, novelty, timeliness, quality, and interest to the Journal's readership. Review outlines should be pre-approved by an Associate Editor, or Editorial Board Member of the Journal.Book and software reviews (1500 words): Describing and evaluating a new or significant publication or piece of software relevant to aspects of computation or informatics in the geosciences.Letter to the Editor: Commenting on published articles. Criteria for assessment shall be the merit of the question or comment raised. The author(s) of the commented-on article shall be offered the opportunity to prepare a reply, to be published alongside the comment.

Computers & Structures publishes advances in the development and use of computational methods for the solution of problems in engineering and the sciences. The range of appropriate contributions is wide, and includes papers on establishing appropriate mathematical models and their numerical solution in all areas of mechanics. The journal also includes articles that present a substantial review of a field in the topics of the journal.With the modern use of computers and numerical methods to model and solve problems, the traditional boundaries between the fields of solid/structural mechanics and fluid mechanics hardly exist any longer, and multiphysics problems are solved that involve all aspects of mechanics. The word 'structures' must therefore now be interpreted in a broad sense including solids, fluids and multiphysics.Computers & Structures publishes papers in these fields that either present novel and quite general techniques, or offer substantial new insights into important methods. If a paper presents novel techniques, some comparison with known advanced methods is necessary. If a paper is to provide substantial new insights into advanced methods, then this can be achieved by strong numerical experiments, some mathematical analysis, and/or comparisons with well-designed physical test data. Computers and Composition: An International Journal is devoted to exploring the use of computers in writing classes, writing programs, and writing research. It provides a forum for discussing issues connected with writing and computer use. It also offers information about integrating computers into writing programs on the basis of sound theoretical and pedagogical decisions, and empirical evidence.
