Journal of Community Archaeology & Heritage is a new journal intended for participants, volunteers, practitioners, and academics involved in the many projects and practices broadly defined as ‘community archaeology’. This is intended to include the excavation, management, stewardship or presentation of archaeological and heritage resources that include major elements of community participation, collaboration, or outreach.

The journal recognises the growing interest in voluntary activism in archaeological research and interpretation, and seeks to create a platform for discussion about the efficacy and importance of such work as well as a showcase for the dissemination of community archaeology projects (which might offer models of best practice for others). By inviting papers relating to theory and practice from across the world, the journal seeks to demonstrate both the diversity of community archaeology and its commonalities in process and associated theory. We seek contributions from members of the voluntary sector as well as those involved in archaeological practice and academia.

The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis: Research and Practice aims to stimulate the further intellectual development of comparative policy studies and the growth of an international community of scholars in the field. It gives priority to comparative studies that:Contribute to comparative theory development;Present theory-based empirical research;Offer comparative evaluations of research methods;Derive the practice implications of theory-based research;Use conceptual heuristics to interpret practice;Draw lessons based on circumstances in which the domains compared have certain manipulable policy, program or institutional variables in common. Published five times per year, the JCPA is the only explicitly comparative journal of policy studies. It invites manuscripts that address public policy analysis and related public administration and management in this unique manner. The Journal of Consumer Health on the Internet is the only professional peer-reviewed journal devoted to locating consumer health information via the Internet. The Journal of Contemporary African Studies (published four times a year, in January, April, July and October) is an interdisciplinary journal seeking to promote a scholarly understanding of developments and change throughout the African continent, as well as the location of Africa within the global political economy. Journal of Contemporary Asia Prize 2011 The Journal of Contemporary Asia is an established refereed publication, it appears quarterly and has done so since 1970. When the journal was established, it was conceived as providing an alternative to mainstream perspectives on contemporary Asian issues. The Journal of Contemporary European Studies (previously Journal of European Area Studies) seeks to provide a forum for interdisciplinary debate about the theory and practice of area studies as well as for empirical studies of European societies, politics and cultures. The central area focus of the journal is European in its broadest geographical definition. However, the examination of European 'areas' and themes are enhanced as a matter of editorial policy by non-European perspectives. The Journal of Creativity in Mental Health, the official journal of the Association for Creativity in Counseling, a division of the American Counseling Association, is the valuable interdisciplinary reference source for academics and therapeutic practitioners. This refereed journal examines the practical applications of using creativity to help deepen self-awareness and build healthy relationships. This journal also explores how creative, diverse, and relational therapeutic approaches can be used in counseling practice. Each issue of the Journal of Creativity in Mental Health provides a wide range of interdisciplinary discussion relative to diverse mental health issues. The Journal of Crime and Justice, the official publication of the Midwestern Criminal Justice Association, is a triannual peer-reviewed journal featuring original scholarly work in the area of crime and criminal justice. JC&J welcomes quantitative and qualitative articles, theoretical commentaries, and book reviews.
