Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics is an international journal of gastroenterology and hepatology. The journal accepts original papers and systematic reviews concerned with clinical gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. AP&T is particularly interested in therapies and diagnostics, including all aspects of translation from bench to bedside: identification of novel therapeutic targets, epidemiology, clinical trials, drug safety and meta-analyses.

The aim of the journal is to promote and maintain contact between basic and clinical allergy and immunology. Allergy is an international journal with contributors and readers in all countries. Articles are accepted purely on the basis of quality. The journal publishes original articles, reviews, position papers, and short communications (AllergyNet). Original articles of special interest are accompanied by editorial comments. Correspondence to recently published work is also considered.

BenchCouncil Transactions on Benchmarks, Standards and Evaluations (TBench) publishes position articles that open new research areas; research articles that address new problems; methodologies; tools; survey articles that build up comprehensive knowledge; and comment articles that argue published articles. Submissions should deal with benchmarks, standards and evaluation research areas.

The American Journal of Physical Anthropology (AJPA) is the official journal of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists. The Journal is published monthly in three quarterly volumes. In addition, two supplements appear on an annual basis, the Yearbook of Physical Anthropology, which publishes major review articles, and the Annual Meeting Issue, containing the Scientific Program of the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists and abstracts of posters and podium presentations. The Yearbook of Physical Anthropology has its own editor, appointed by the Association, and is handled independently of the AJPA. As measured by impact factor, the AJPA is among the top journals listed in the anthropology category by the Social Science Citation Index. The reputation of the AJPA as the leading publication in physical anthropology is built on its nearly century-long record of publishing high quality scientific articles in a wide range of topics. The Editor-in-Chief welcomes for consideration manuscripts that contribute to an understanding of the evolution of members of the order Primates, with particular emphasis on human biological evolution and variation. Within this framework, the AJPA publishes in established areas, including human biology and non-human primate behavior, and also seeks submissions in new and developing fronts that contribute to the growth of the science and increased understanding of human and non-human primate evolution. The AJPA publishes scientific articles without page charges, as well as invited commentaries, book reviews, and short communications dealing mostly with methodological and technical issues. Manuscripts submitted elsewhere will not be considered for publication. The Editor-in-Chief seeks input on cover design from the AJPA readership. Authors are encouraged to submit illustrative materials for inclusion on the cover. Research manuscripts should be sent to the Office of the Editor-in-Chief. Invited book reviews should be sent to the Associate Editor for Book Reviews. The Office of the Editor-in-Chief is located at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. The AJPA is a peer-reviewed scientific publication. The Editor-in-Chief works with the assistance of Associate Editors appointed by the Executive Committee of the Association, and seeks advice of reviewers recommended by the Associate Editors. The review process is anonymous.

The American Journal of Botany (AJB), the flagship journal of the Botanical Society of America (BSA), publishes peer-reviewed, innovative, significant research of interest to a wide audience of plant scientists in all areas of plant biology (structure, function, development, diversity, genetics, evolution, systematics), all levels of organization (molecular to ecosystem), and all plant groups and allied organisms (cyanobacteria, algae, fungi, and lichens). AJB requires authors to frame their research questions and discuss their results in terms of major questions of plant biology. In general, papers that are too narrowly focused, purely descriptive, natural history, broad surveys, or that contain only preliminary data will not be considered.The AJB also includes AJB Primer Notes & Protocols in the Plant Sciences, an online-only section for papers intended to promote rapid dissemination of protocols used in genetic analyses of plants. Subjects appropriate for this section include: (1) marker notes providing primer sequences for microsatellite or other markers in particular taxa, and (2) protocol notes describing new methods for isolating, visualizing, or scoring genetic markers. The American Journal of Community Psychology publishes original quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research; theoretical papers; empirical reviews; reports of innovative community programs or policies; and first person accounts of stakeholders involved in research, programs, or policy. The journal encourages submissions of innovative multi-level research and interventions, and encourages international submissions. The journal also encourages the submission of manuscripts concerned with underrepresented populations and issues of human diversity. The American Journal of Hematology provides broad coverage of experimental and clinical features of blood diseases in humans and in animal models of human disease. The journal publishes original contributions in non-malignant and malignant hematological diseases including clinical and basic studies in hemostasis and thrombosis, immunology, blood banking, and stem cell biology. Clinical translational reports describing novel therapeutic approaches to diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases are welcomed and encouraged. The American Journal of Human Biology is the Official Journal of the Human Biology Association. The American Journal of Human Biology is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed, internationally circulated journal that publishes reports of original research, theoretical articles and timely reviews, and brief communications in the interdisciplinary field of human biology. As the official journal of the Human Biology Association, the Journal also publishes abstracts of research presented at its annual scientific meeting and book reviews relevant to the field. The Journal seeks scholarly manuscripts that address all aspects of human biology, health, and disease, particularly those that stress comparative, developmental, ecological, or evolutionary perspectives. The transdisciplinary areas covered in the Journal include, but are not limited to, epidemiology, genetic variation, population biology and demography, physiology, anatomy, nutrition, growth and aging, physical performance, physical activity and fitness, ecology, and evolution, along with their interactions. American Journal of Industrial Medicine considers for publication reports of original research, review articles, instructive case reports, and analyses of policy in the fields of occupational and environmental health and safety. The Journal also accepts commentaries, book reviews and letters of comment and criticism. Neuropsychiatric Genetics, Part B of the American Journal of Medical Genetics (AJMG) , provides a forum for experimental and clinical investigations of the genetic mechanisms underlying neurologic and psychiatric disorders. It is a resource for novel genetics studies of the heritable nature of psychiatric and other nervous system disorders, characterized at the molecular, cellular or behavior levels. Neuropsychiatric Genetics publishes eight times per year.

Seminars in Medical Genetics, Part C of the American Journal of Medical Genetics (AJMG) , serves as both an educational resource and review forum, providing critical, in-depth retrospectives for students, practitioners, and associated professionals working in fields of human and medical genetics. Each issue is guest edited by a researcher in a featured area of genetics, offering a collection of thematic reviews from specialists around the world. Seminars in Medical Genetics publishes four times per year.

The American Journal of Political Science (AJPS) publishes research in all major areas of political science including American politics, public policy, international relations, comparative politics, political methodology, and political theory. Founded in 1956, the AJPS publishes articles that make outstanding contributions to scholarly knowledge about notable theoretical concerns, puzzles or controversies in any subfield of political science.

The objective of the American Journal of Primatology is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and findings among primatologists and to convey our increasing understanding of this order of animals to specialists and interested readers alike. Primatology is an unusual science in that its practitioners work in a wide variety of departments and institutions, live in countries throughout the world, and carry out a vast range of research procedures. Whether we are anthropologists, psychologists, biologists, or medical researchers, whether we live in Japan, Kenya, Brazil, or the United States, whether we conduct naturalistic observations in the field or experiments in the lab, we are united in our goal of better understanding primates. Our studies of nonhuman primates are of interest to scientists in many other disciplines ranging from entomology to sociology. The American Journal of Primatology welcomes for consideration manuscripts from all areas of primatology. This includes but is not limited to the behavioral ecology, conservation, evolutionary biology, life history, demography, paleontology, physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular genetics, and psychobiology of the nonhuman primates. As well as publishing in established areas, we seek submissions on new and developing types of primate studies. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews and commentaries. Proposals for special issues on a particular theme are also welcomed, and may be guest edited. The American Journal of Primatology is the official journal of the American Society of Primatologists.
