The Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology Journal welcomes original contributions on all aspects of diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism. Taking into account that diabetes has become a pandemic, the journal provides a platform for worldwide communication and scientific exchange to researchers and clinicians dealing with diabetes. The focus of the journal lies on the publication of papers on morphological, biochemical, physiological, pathophysiological, and clinical aspects of research on diabetes and metabolism. In addition to research articles, further types of papers such as review articles, case reports, reviews, meta-analyses, letters, editorials, and commentaries make the journal a comprehensive and interesting read. The researcher and practitioner who seeks to stay up to date on the developments in the fields of diabetes and metabolism will find a wealth of information in the Dubai Diabetes and Endocrinology Journal.
The effective translation of insights gained from biomedical research into improved human health is a global priority. To this end, Elsevier has looked to the leadership of its two leading brands, Cell and The Lancet, to guide the launch of a new comprehensive, online-only open access Elsevier journal, EBioMedicine, focused on forming a community that spans this interface and creates a valuable opportunity for dialogue and collaboration between their respective audiences.
As the communities that border this interface are large and diverse, the scope of
In leveraging the editorial leadership from Cell and The Lancet together with the publishing expertise of Elsevier to create a unique forum for the reputable and speedy publication of research in life and health sciences, we are committed to facilitating and incentivizing a robust and successful pipeline for improved human health globally.
ELECTROPHORESIS is an international journal that publishes original manuscripts on all aspects of electrophoresis. Topics include new or improved analytical and preparative methods, development of theory, and innovative applications of electrophoretic methods in the study of nucleic acids, proteins, and other compounds. Papers describing the application of standard electrophoretic methods will not be considered. Microfluidics and proteomics, which have been an integral part of the Journal since 2000 or earlier, have been added as subtitles in 2008 to make them more visible to the readers and authors (Papers in the areas of microfluidics and proteomics, which are not limited to electrophoresis-based methods will also be accepted for publication). As a natural expansion of the scope of the Journal, we now add Nanoanalysis as another subtitle. Nanoanalysis is a broad term, and therefore papers that will be accepted for publications in nanoanalysis must be focused on one or more of the following: (i) nanoscale electrokinetics and phenomena related to electric double layer and/or confinement in nano-sized geometry, (ii) single cell and sub- cellular analysis, (iii) nano-sensors and ultra-sensitive detection aspects (e.g., involving quantum dots, 'nano-electrodes' or nano-spray MS), (iv) nano-scale/nanopore DNA sequencing (next generation sequencing), (v) micro- and nano-scale sample preparation, (vi) nanoparticles and cells analyses by dielectrophoresis, (vii) separation-based analysis using nanoparticles, nanotubes and nanowires. Contributions will be allocated to one of the six subject categories: (i) general, (ii) nucleic acids, (iii) capillary electrophoresis and capillary electrochromatography (CE and CEC), (iv) microfluidics and miniaturization, (v) proteomics and two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE), and (vi) nanoanalysis. On submission authors are requested to indicate the preferred subject category. ELECTROPHORESIS will continue to serve as an indispensable vehicle for the dissemination of efficacious advances by covering all operative approaches from gels through capillaries to chips. Upcoming Special Issues:
The journal publishes original research reports, authoritative reviews and case reports of experimental and clinical sciences.
Topics include:
Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine, publishes peer-reviewed research articles on the biological effects and medical applications of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields (from extremely-low frequency to radiofrequency). Topic examples include in vitro and in vivo studies, epidemiological investigation, mechanism and mode of interaction between non-ionizing electromagnetic fields and biological systems. In addition to publishing original articles, the journal also publishes meeting summaries and reports, and reviews on selected topics. .
The journal provides an effective way to publish research and review articles, short communications and technical notes, Video material, animation sequences and 3D are also accepted to support and enhance articles. The articles will be examined by a scientific committee and anonymous evaluators and published every two months in HTML and PDF formats (January 15th , March 15th, May 15th, July 15th, September 15th, November 15th).

Electronic Journal of Biotechnology is a
Endocrine Connections publishes original quality research in all areas of endocrinology, with a focus on papers that have relevance to its related and intersecting disciplines and the wider biomedical community. The journal considers basic, translational and clinical studies.
This journal publishes original articles relating to endocrinology in the broadest context. Subjects of interest include: receptors and mechanism of action of hormones, methodological advances in the detection and measurement of hormones; structure and chemical properties of hormones. Invitations to submit Brief Reviews are issued to specific authors by the Editors.
Endocrine Reviews publishes bimonthly comprehensive, authoritative, and timely review articles balancing both experimental and clinical endocrinology themes and crystallizing the most significant clinical experience and current research in endocrinology and related areas such as cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, genetics, molecular biology, neuroscience, reproductive medicine, and pediatric endocrinology. In the 2009 Journal Citation Report, Endocrine Reviews has the highest Impact Factor ranking of the 105 journals in the category of Endocrinology and Metabolism: 19.761.
This journal is devoted to timely reviews of experimental and clinical studies in the field of endocrine, metabolic, and immune disorders. Specific emphasis is placed on humoral and cellular targets for natural, synthetic, and genetically engineered drugs that enhance or impair endocrine, metabolic, and immune parameters and functions. Topics related to the neuroendocrine-immune axis are given special emphasis in view of the growing interest in stress-related, inflammatory, autoimmune, and degenerative disorders. Original articles related to Immune Disorders and Drug Targeting are also considered for publication.
Endocrine-Related Cancer is the established global journal for basic, translational and clinical research on hormones and cancer. Endocrine-related cancers typically include cancers of the breast, prostate, pituitary, testes, ovary and neuroendocrine system as well as hormone-dependent cancers elsewhere.
