Nonlinear Dynamics provides a forum for the rapid publication of original research in the field. The journal’s scope encompasses all nonlinear dynamic phenomena associated with mechanical, structural, civil, aeronautical, ocean, electrical, and control systems. Review articles and original contributions are based on analytical, computational, and experimental methods. The journal examines such topics as perturbation and computational methods, symbolic manipulation, dynamic stability, local and global methods, bifurcations, chaos, and deterministic and random vibrations. The journal also investigates Lie groups, multibody dynamics, robotics, fluid-solid interactions, system modeling and identification, friction and damping models, signal analysis, and measurement techniques.

This journal promotes the application of optimization methods in the engineering sciences. This includes facilitating the development of advanced optimization methods for direct or indirect use in engineering. The journal provides a forum in which engineers obtain information about recent advances of optimization sciences, and researchers in mathematical optimization learn about the needs of engineering sciences and successful applications of optimization methods. It closes the gap between optimization theory and the practice of engineering. The Pacific Economic Review (PER) publishes high-quality articles in all areas of economics, both the theoretical and empirical, and welcomes in particular analyses of economic issues in the Asia-Pacific area. Published five times a year from 2007, the journal is of interest to academic, government and corporate economists. The Pacific Economic Review is the official publication of the Hong Kong Economic Association and has a strong editorial team and international board of editors. The Origin and Aims of COSPARThe COmmittee on SPAce Research (COSPAR) was established by the International Council of Scientific Unions in October 1958 to continue the cooperative programmes of rocket and satellite research successfully undertaken during the International Geophysical Year of 1957-58. The ICSU resolution creating COSPAR stated that the primary purpose of COSPAR was to "provide the world scientific community with the means whereby it may exploit the possibilities of satellites and space probes of all kinds for scientific purposes, and exchange the resulting data on a cooperative basis". Hence, COSPAR is an interdisciplinary scientific organization concerned with progress on an international scale of all kinds of scientific investigations carried out with space vehicles, rockets and balloons.COSPAR's objectives are carried out by the international community of scientists working through ICSU and its adhering national academies and international scientific unions. Operating under the rules of ICSU, COSPAR ignores political considerations and considers all questions solely from the scientific viewpoint.The COSPAR Information Bulletin has been published since 1960. The Bulletin addresses not only researchers connected with COSPAR but also other scientists and the lay public active or interested in the latest developments in scientific space activities.
