Current Sports Medicine Reports, an official review journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), helps keep physicians up to date with the expanding volume of information published in sports medicine. Digital biomarkers are defined as objective, quantifiable physiological and behavioral data that are collected and measured by means of digital devices such as portables, wearables, implantables, or digestibles. The data collected are typically used to explain, influence, and/or predict health-related outcomes. Digital biomarkers also represent an opportunity to capture clinically meaningful, objective data.
Multidisciplinary by design, this innovative open-access journal bridges the disciplines of computer science, engineering, biomedicine, regulatory science, and informatics. The editorial board includes leaders from academia, life sciences, technology, and government, thus reflecting the broad scope of the journal. Disability and Health Journal is a scientific, scholarly, and multidisciplinary journal for reporting original contributions that advance knowledge in disability and health. Topics may be related to global health, quality of life, and specific health conditions as they relate to disability. Disaster Prevention and Management publishes high-quality research which advances knowledge and practice in the field of disaster risk reduction and management.

Dose-Response is a quarterly peer-reviewed electronic journal dedicated to the publication of original findings on the occurrence of dose-response relationships across a broad range of biological disciplines including physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, toxicology, radiation biology, pharmacology, medicine, neuroscience, immunology, developmental biology, ecology, experimental psychology, plant biology, and environmental and related sciences. In addition to descriptive experimental findings of dose-responses, particular interest will focus on experimental evidence providing mechanistic understanding of nonlinear dose-response relationships. The journal also welcomes the submission of biologically motivated statistical modeling of dose-response relationships. While the emphasis of the journal is on the publication of experimental findings, population-based epidemiological studies relating to nonlinearity are encouraged. Dose-Response encourages the submission of mini-reviews on topics at the forefront of research interest, and the journal is particularly interested in receiving manuscripts that apply the concept of nonlinearity to current developments in drug and chemical testing procedures as well as in environmental, occupational and medical risk assessment.

The Drug Information Journal is the official publication of DIA. The scope of this peer-reviewed, scholarly publication is international and multidisciplinary. Its purpose is to disseminate information on manual and automated drug research, development, and information systems; to foster communication between educational, research, industrial, and governmental personnel engaged in drug information activities; and to provide a forum for the development of improved methods of presenting research data generated from chemical, toxicologic, pharmacologic, and clinical studies.

Drug and Chemical Toxicology publishes full-length research papers, review articles and short communications that encompass a broad spectrum of toxicological data surrounding risk assessment and harmful exposure. Manuscripts are considered according to their relevance to the journal.

Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety focuses on integrated mechanistic research related to short- and long-term pathways and interactions of substances and chemical mixtures in environmental systems and subsystems on their bioavailability, and assimilation in organisms, as well as biological responses of these organisms, and damage mechanisms (endocrine disruption, genotoxicity); and on their subsequent fate in the environment, food chain, including humans. Novel technologies, techniques, and methods such as biomarkers, biosensors and bioanalytical systems, bioremediation methods, QSARs and QSPRs, advanced high performance computational methods, models, and their applications in obtaining and processing interdisciplinary ecotoxicological information are also addressed in the journal. We welcome the applied outcome of complex ecotoxicological research such as developing the science-based Environmental Quality Criteria (EQC), standard toxicity tests, techniques, and methods for ecotoxicological evaluation of the environment, as well as developing ecotoxicologically proven methods and technologies for prevention, interception, and remediation of human-induced damage to ecosystems. Emphasis is placed on ecological animal models rather than laboratory based rodent studies; The above scope of the journal is aimed at providing science-based tools for sustainably managing the environment through risk assessment, risk characterization, risk prediction, and risk management. The journal publishes regular research articles, and review articles.

Environmental Health is ready to receive manuscripts on all aspects of environmental and occupational medicine and related studies in toxicology and epidemiology.

Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) is a monthly journal of peer-reviewed research and news published by the U.S. National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services. EHP's mission is to serve as a forum for the discussion of the interrelationships between the environment and human health by publishing in a balanced and objective manner the best peer-reviewed research and most current and credible news of the field. With an impact factor of 6.19, EHP is the top monthly journal in public, environmental, and occupational health and the second-ranked monthly journal in environmental sciences.The environmental health sciences include many fields of study and increasingly comprise a multidisciplinary research area. EHP publishes articles from a wide range of scientific disciplines encompassing basic research; epidemiologic studies; risk assessment; relevant ethical, legal, social, environmental justice, and policy topics; longitudinal human studies; in vitro and in vivo animal research with a clear relationship to human health; and environmental medicine case reports. Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine (EHPM), published bimonthly, is the official journal of the Japanese Society for Hygiene. The journal is devoted to the publication of definitive studies on human health sciences, including regular articles, short communications, and review articles. The journal brings a comprehensive approach to prevention and environmental health related to medical, biological, molecular biological, genetic, physical, psychosocial, chemical, and other environmental factors. Environmental Research Letters (ERL) is a high-impact, open-access journal intended to be the meeting place of the research and policy communities concerned with environmental change and management. ERL is dedicated to bringing together intellectual and professional scientists, economists, engineers, and social scientists, as well as the public sector, industry, and civil society, all of whom are engaged in efforts to understand the state of natural systems and, increasingly, the human footprint on the biosphere.
