Devoted to exploring relationships between brain and behavior across the life span, Developmental Neuropsychology publishes scholarly papers on the appearance and development of behavioral functions, such as language, perception, and social, motivational and cognitive processes as they relate to brain functions and structures. Appropriate subjects include studies of changes in cognitive function--brain structure relationships across a time period, early cognitive behaviors in normal and brain-damaged children, plasticity and recovery of function after early brain damage, the development of complex cognitive and motor skills, and specific and nonspecific disturbances, such as learning disabilities, mental retardation, schizophrenia, stuttering, and developmental aphasia. In the gerontologic areas, relevant subjects include neuropsychological analyses of normal age-related changes in brain and behavioral functions, such as sensory, motor, cognitive, and adaptive abilities; studies of age-related diseases of the nervous system; and recovery of function in later life. Empirical studies, research reviews, case reports, critical commentary, and book reviews are featured in each issue. By publishing both basic and clinical studies of the developing and aging brain, the journal encourages additional scholarly work that advances understanding of the field of developmental neuropsychology. The International Journal of Psychophysiology is the official journal of the International Organization of Psychophysiology, and provides a respected forum for the publication of high quality original contributions on all aspects of psychophysiology. The journal is interdisciplinary and aims to integrate the neurosciences and behavioral sciences. Empirical, theoretical, and review articles are encouraged in the following areas:• Cerebral psychophysiology: including functional brain mapping and neuroimaging with Event-Related Potentials (ERPs), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and Electroencephalographic studies.• Autonomic functions: including bilateral electrodermal activity, pupillometry and blood volume changes.• Cardiovascular Psychophysiology:including studies of blood pressure, cardiac functioning and respiration.• Somatic psychophysiology: including muscle activity, eye movements and eye blinks.Manuscripts will detail the study of physiological measures such as the ones mentioned, or others, along with a variety of behavioral measures that may include sensation and perception, learning, memory, evolution and development of behaviour, motivation and emotion, aggression and defence, interhemispheric relations, information processing, sleep, stress, psychopharmacology and psychophysiological disorders.Also considered will be papers on Clinical Psychophysiology (cognitive, affective and psychotic disorders and psychopharmacology), including applied Psychophysiology (eg, ergonomics) and effects of behavior on immune function.

The Journal of Neurotherapy: Investigations in Neuromodulation, Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience provides an integrated, multidisciplinary perspective on clinically relevant research, treatment, and public policy for neuromodulation techniques and applied neuroscience. The Journal reviews important findings in these fields with a focus on electroencephalography (EEG), neurofeedback, quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG), repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with a focus on treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders. The Journal of Neurotherapy: Investigations in Neuromodulation, Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience provides relevant findings from the diversity of disciplines involved in the study of neuromodulation and applied neuroscience and offers interpretive commentary to clarify this information. The only magazine-sized journal in this area that prints in color, the journal draws from expertise inside and outside of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR) to deliver material which integrates the diverse aspects of the field.

The neurobiology of learning and memory is entering a new interdisciplinary era. Advances in neuropsychology have identified regions of brain tissue that are critical for certain types of function. Electrophysiological techniques have revealed behavioral correlates of neuronal activity. Studies of synaptic plasticity suggest that some mechanisms of memory formation may resemble those of neural development. And molecular approaches have identified genes with patterns of expression that influence behavior. It is clear that future progress depends on interdisciplinary investigations. The current literature of learning and memory is large but fragmented. Until now, there has been no single journal devoted to this area of study and no dominant journal that demands attention by serious workers in the area, regardless of specialty. Learning & Memory provides a forum for these investigations in the form of research papers and review articles.

Learning and Motivation features original experimental research devoted to the analysis of basic phenomena and mechanisms of learning, memory, and motivation. These studies, involving either animal or human subjects, examine behavioral, biological, and evolutionary influences on the learning and motivation processes, and often report on an integrated series of experiments that advance knowledge in this field.
