The European Journal of Women's Studies is a quarterly published, interdisciplinary forum devoted to European feminist scholarship. The journal presents the latest stand of gender theory and feminist scholarship internationally, contributing to debates from a European perspective. The journal provides a platform for different theoretical and methodological approaches and a diversity of feminist perspectives.

The European Journal on Criminal Policy and Research monitors crime trends in today’s enlarged Europe and beyond. The focus of its peer-reviewed coverage is on understanding crime in different geographical and socio-economic contexts, on presenting innovative crime prevention policies and practices, and on following legislative and institutional change. Discussion includes the trade-off between security and rights and ways to optimize the effectiveness of criminal justice systems with respect to human and civil rights. Recognizing that criminal justice systems are not the only method for dealing with crime, the journal also devotes attention to alternative policies and practices. Its four annual issues include two thematic issues and two that are open to various contributions.

European Planning Studies provides a forum for ideas and information about spatial development processes and policies in Europe. The journal publishes articles of a theoretical, empirical and policy-relevant nature and is particularly concerned to integrate knowledge of processes with practical policy proposals, implementation and evaluation. Articles of particular interest to the journal focus upon specific spatial development problems, as well as emerging explanations of new urban, regional, national or supranational developmental tendencies. Country-specific, region-specific or locality-specific issues are focused upon, although comparative analysis is of especial value. Case studies of successful spatial policies and critiques of policy failure based on in-depth study are both welcomed. A key feature of the journal is to generalize learning about best practice analysis and policy-formulation in the field of spatial development planning. European Political Science (EPS) is an international journal devoted to publishing contributions by and for the political science community. Its interpretation of 'political science' is wide and encompasses comparative politics, political economy, international relations, public administration, political theory, European studies and related disciplines. It publishes pieces on how the discipline is, can be and ought to be. Articles address research matters (including debates in the discipline, research projects, political science information sources, funding opportunities); professional matters (such as career structures and prospects, external evaluation, higher education reforms, accreditation issues); doctoral training provision and teaching matters; and relations between academia and politicians, policy-makers, journalists and ordinary citizens. EPS also includes more substantive pieces that provide a political science perspective on important current events. ERR Prize for Best Article 2010 Announced The European Romantic Review publishes innovative scholarship on the literature and culture of Europe, Great Britain and the Americas during the period 1760-1840. Topics range from the scientific and psychological interests of German and English authors through the political and social reverberations of the French Revolution to the philosophical and ecological implications of Anglo-American nature writing. Selected papers from the annual conference of the North American Society for the Study of Romanticism appear in one of the six issues published each year. Essays published in ERR will be considered for an annual award co-sponsored by ERR and NASSR. Book reviews are commissioned for two of the six annual issues represent a cross section of concerns in Romantic Era studies and call attention to important new titles and editions from major university and academic presses. Book reviews are distinguished by their depth of analysis, acquainting readers with the substance and significance of current criticism and scholarship in the field. The European Transport Research Review – An Open Access Journal (ETRR) is an online scientific platform aiming at disseminating research results in the field of transport. The main scope and mission of the Journal is to provide a forum for the publication of high quality scientific papers in the field of transport in general, and a dissemination medium for new ideas and developments that originate in, or are of interest to, the European transport research community. The Journal was established by the European Conference of Transport Research Institutes (ECTRI).

Journal’s concept and primary characteristics are: first, it is the open access configuration that makes it easily and widely available through the internet to all readers with a minimum of constraints and costs: second, it provides focus on issues of special interest to European transport research, its funding bodies and supervising organisations: third, it is clearly oriented towards both researchers and practitioners.The Journal considers primarily papers, on both theoretical as well as applied research, whose excellence and content represent an important contribution to transport research in Europe. Papers dealing with theoretical or applied research outside Europe are also encouraged to be submitted for publication, as long as their results are of relevance to European transport concerns, or can contribute to scientific knowledge or best practice transfer between researchers in Europe and their counterparts in other continents.Contributors are advised to submit papers that fit at least in one of the areas of interest identified by the Journal.
