Emerging Markets Finance and Trade publishes research papers on financial and economic aspects of emerging economies. The journal features contributions that are policy oriented and interdisciplinary, employing sound econometric methods, using macro, micro, financial, institutional, and political economy data. Geographical coverage includes emerging market economies of Europe, the Balkans, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Additionally, the journal will publish thematic issues and occasional special issues featuring selected research papers from major conferences worldwide.
The intent of the editors is to consolidate Emerging Markets Review as the premier vehicle for publishing high impact empirical and theoretical studies in emerging markets finance. Preference will be given to comparative studies that take global and regional perspectives, detailed single country studies that address critical policy issues and have significant global and regional implications, and papers that address the interactions of national and international financial architecture. Emerging Microbes & Infections (EMI) is a new open access, fully peer-reviewed international journal. The purpose of EMI is to provide a forum to publish a wide range of scientific reports related to emerging infectious diseases, especially with new information from developing countries where such diseases are constantly arising and being discovered regularly. It will report discoveries of emerging microbes (bacteria, viruses, fungi and other pathogens) including their previously unknown phenotypic or genotypic characteristics, as well as cutting edge information associated with microbial mechanisms of pathogenesis, immune evasion and protection, clinical presentation and outcome, drug efficacy and its resistance, epidemiology and other issues important to global health.
Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of life science research, Emerging Topics in Life Sciences is a journal jointly-owned by the Royal Society of Biology and the Biochemical Society specializing in publishing themed issues on emerging topics.
From students and early-career researchers to established scientists, the reader will be kept up-to-date with recent advances, leading perspectives and emerging trends across the life sciences. Areas covered in the journal include, but are not limited to: cell and molecular biology, organismal biology, biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, clinical and medical sciences, plant science, veterinary sciences, ecology, and environmental sciences.
Written for an interdisciplinary audience, each issue focusses on a new, or growing, key topic and is guest edited by an expert in that field.
