The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance® publishes studies on perception, control of action, perceptual aspects of language processing, and related cognitive processes. All sensory modalities and motor systems are within its purview. The journal also encourages studies with a neuroscientific perspective that contribute to the functional understanding of perception and performance. There are three types of articles: * Observations facilitate the rapid communication of ground-breaking research of general interest to readers of the journal. Observations are limited to 2,000 words in the main body of the text. A cover letter should explain why the research is appropriate to present as an Observation. * Reports consist of empirical studies that increase theoretical understanding of human perception and performance. Studies will typically include human data, although machine and animal studies that reflect on human capabilities may also be published. Should an author submit a full Report following an Observation, the relationship between the two manuscripts must be acknowledged in an author footnote. * Commentary may occasionally be published consisting of nonempirical reports, theoretical notes, or criticism on topics pertinent to the journal's concerns.
The Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition® publishes original experimental studies on basic processes of cognition, learning, memory, imagery, concept formation, problem solving, decision making, thinking, reading, and language processing. The journal emphasizes empirical reports, which may be either multi-experiment, integrative articles, or research reports. Research reports are limited to 3,000 to 5,000 words in length (including references, but excluding abstract and footnotes). The journal also publishes specialized reviews and other non-empirical reports, called observations, which are theoretical notes, commentary, or criticism on topics appropriate to the journal's content area. The journal will only consider commentaries on articles that were published in the journal. Observations are limited to a maximum of twenty pages of text all-inclusive. Commentaries on articles should be at maximum half the length of the target article.
The Journal of Experimental Social Psychology publishes original research and theory on human social behavior and related phenomena. The journal emphasizes empirical, conceptually based research that advances an understanding of important social psychological processes. The journal also publishes literature reviews, theoretical analyses, and methodological comments. The Editor and Associate Editors will make an initial determination of whether or not submissions fall within the scope of the journal and/or are of sufficient merit and importance to warrant full review.JESP is an official journal of the Society of Experimental Social PsychologyBenefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. MOLECULAR AND DEVELOPMENTAL EVOLUTION (MDE) welcomes papers that contribute to a causal understanding of the evolution of development and how development influences patterns of molecular and phenotypic evolution. Papers that take diverse disciplinary approaches, including developmental, molecular, genetic, evolutionary, systematic, ecological, and paleontological, will be published. MDE seeks research articles without page restriction or charges, review articles, invited commentaries, and book reviews. The Editor-in-Chief has discretion over the use of a number of free color plates. Only color illustrations that highlight the text and convey essential scientific information will be considered for reproduction free of charge, subject to the recommendations of the reviewers and Associate Editors.
The Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Physics is published in English translation simultaneously
with its original Russian edition. This influential physics research journal emphasizes fundamental
theoretical and experimental research in all fields of physics, from solids and liquids to elementary particles and astrophysics. Coverage includesatoms, molecules, optics;nuclei, particles, fields, gravitation, and astrophysics;solids and liquids; order, disorder, and phase transition in condensed system;electronic properties of solids;statistical, nonlinear, and soft matter physics.
Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology (JESEE), a peer-reviewed publication, is published six times a year. The journal publishes research important to exposure assessment for toxic substances, environmental epidemiology that includes a strong exposure analysis component and related disciplines that advance the exposure assessment process. JESEE also publishes original research presenting significant advances in exposure analysis such as measurements, modeling, instrumentation, and questionnaires; mechanisms of exposure via pathways that lead to routes of exposure; development of molecular biomarkers of exposure, health effects, and susceptibility; genomic, proteomic, and metabonomics approaches and studies that assess exposure in the context of health effects; studies on chemical, biological, and physical principles required to analyze human exposure from single and multiple media and routes; occupational exposure studies that enhance the understanding of environmental exposure; and, population-based studies of exposure to toxic substances.Types of work considered are original research; feature articles on emerging issues significant to exposure analysis and assessment; and, reviews on subjects of importance to exposure assessment.
The Journal of Extracellular Biology publishes open access research on extracellular vesicles, extracellular particles, and how they interact with each other, other extracellular macromolecules, extracellular matrix, cells, and organs. Journal of Extracellular Biology is an official journal of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles.
