The Journal of South American Earth Sciences provides an international medium for the publication of scientific work concerned with all aspects of the earth sciences in the South American continent and the surrounding oceans. Work is also accepted from the adjacent regions of the Caribbean, Central America and Antarctic Peninsula.Papers must have a regional appeal and should present work of more than local significance. Research papers dealing with the regional geology of South American cratons and mobile belts; economic geology particularly metallogenesis and hydrocarbon genesis; stratigraphy, structure and basin evolution; geophysics and geochemistry; volcanology; tectonics and Quaternary geology are featured.New developments in already established regional projects and new initiatives dealing with the geology of the continent will be summarized and presented on a regular basis. This Journal is devoted to reporting advancements in the science and technology associated with spacecraft and tactical and strategic missile systems, including subsystems, applications, missions, environmental interactions, and space sciences. The Journal publishes original archival papers disclosing significant developments in spacecraft and missile configurations, re-entry devices, transatmospheric vehicles, systems and subsystem design and application, mission design and analysis, applied and computational fluid dynamics, applied aerothermodynamics, development of materials and structures for spacecraft and missile applications, space instrumentation, developments in space sciences, space processing and manufacturing, space operations, interactions with spacecraft and sensors, design of sensors and experiments for space, and applications of space technologies to other fields. The context of the Journal also includes ground-support systems, manufacturing, integration and testing, launch control, recovery and repair, space communications, scientific data processing, and human and environmental factors in spacecraft and mission design. Papers also are sought which describe the effects of propulsion, guidance and control, thermal management, and structural systems on spacecraft and missile design and performance.

The Journal of Spatial Science publishes original peer review Research and Review Papers contributing to the theory and practice of the spatial sciences. The Journal also publishes Professional Papers that describe aspects of professional practise and implementation of techniques related to cartography, geodesy, geographic information science, hydrography, photogrammetry, remote sensing or surveying.

The Journal of Structural Geology publishes on the structural geology of the Earth and other planets and moons, including related contributions in rheology, geophysics, geochemistry, geodynamics, and tectonics. Shorter contributions on technical or conceptual issues relating to systematic methodology and conservation issues are also welcome. However, papers that simply present systematic descriptions without attempting to explain their broader significance will not be published. Collections of thematic papers, such as those arising from symposia, are occasionally published, and these may have a more liberal remit. The Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology (or JVP) was founded in 1980 at the University of Oklahoma by Dr. Jiri Zidek, with financial support from the University of Oklahoma Presidential Associates Fund; it was continued in 1984 by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. JVP is issued four times per year and publishes original contributions on all aspects of vertebrate paleontology, including vertebrate origins, evolution, functional morphology, taxonomy, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, and paleoanthropology.

The Journal of Volcanology and Seismology focuses on current problems of volcanology and seismology, including recent continental and sea-bed volcanic activity, products of volcanic eruptions, structure and 'roots' of volcanoes, seismic and other observations of active volcanoes, prediction of volcanic eruption; Neogen and Quarternary volcanism; historical evolution of volcanism; Igneous petrology, origin of magmas; geochemistry of volcanic and post-volcanic processes and related mineral and ore formation; seismological observation, seismicity, recent crustal movements, deep structure and geodynamics of the transitional zone from Asia to Pacific and other volcanic areas; physics of earthquakes and seismic processes; seismic prediction research; mechanisms of deep-seated magmatic processes and volcanic eruptions. Journal of Water and Climate Change is an Open Access journal that publishes novel peer-reviewed research and practitioner papers on all aspects of water science, technology, management and innovation in response to climate change, with emphasis on reduction of energy usage. Review papers are particularly encouraged.

PFG is an international scholarly journal covering the progress and application of photogrammetric methods, remote sensing technology and the intricately connected field of geoinformation processing.Papers published in PFG highlight new developments and applications of these technologies in practice. The journal hence addresses both researchers and student of these disciplines at academic institutions and universities and the downstream users in both the private sector and public administration.PFG places special editorial emphasis on the communication of new methodologies in data acquisition, new approaches to optimized processing and interpretation of all types of data which were acquired by photogrammetric methods, remote sensing, image processing and the computer-aided interpretation of such data in general.

JAWRA seeks to be the preeminent scholarly publication on multidisciplinary water resources issues.
