Advances in Atmospheric Sciences, launched in 1984, offers rapid publication of original scientific papers on the dynamics, physics and chemistry of the atmosphere and ocean. It reports on the latest achievements and developments in the atmospheric sciences, including marine meteorology and meteorology-associated geophysics, as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of these disciplines. The coverage includes weather systems, numerical weather prediction, climate dynamics and variability, satellite meteorology, remote sensing, air chemistry and the boundary layer, clouds and weather modification, can be found in the journal. Papers describing the application of new mathematics or new instruments are also collected here. Advances in Atmospheric Sciences is sponsored by The Chinese Committee for International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (IAMAS), and the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Advances in Meteorology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of meteorology.

Agricultural and Forest Meteorologyis an international journal for the publication of original articles and reviews on the inter-relationship between meteorology, agriculture, forestry, and natural ecosystems. Emphasis is on basic and applied scientific research relevant to practical problems in the field of plant and soil sciences, ecology and biogeochemistry as affected by weather as well as climate variability and change. Air Quality, Atmosphere, and Health is a multidisciplinary journal which, by its very name, illustrates the broad range of work it publishes and which focuses on atmospheric consequences of human activities and their implications for human and ecological health. It offers research papers, critical literature reviews and commentaries, as well as special issues devoted to topical subjects or themes. International in scope, the journal presents papers that inform and stimulate a global readership, as the topic addressed are global in their import. Consequently, we do not encourage submission of papers involving local data that relate to local problems. Unless they demonstrate wide applicability, these are better submitted to national or regional journals. The Asia-Pacific Journal of Atmospheric Sciences (APJAS) is an international journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (KMS), published fully in English. It has started from 2008 by succeeding the KMS' former journal, the Journal of the Korean Meteorological Society (JKMS), which published total of 43 volumes and 129 issues in its time-honored tradition. Since 2008, the APJAS is included in the journal list of Thomson Reuters’ SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) and also in SCOPUS, the Elsevier Bibliographic Database, indicating the increased awareness and quality of the journal.

Atoms (ISSN 2218-2004) is an international and cross-disciplinary scholarly journal of scientific studies related to all aspects of the atom. It publishes reviews, regular research papers, and communications; there is no restriction on the length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided for research articles. Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (ACP) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high quality studies investigating the Earth's atmosphere and the underlying chemical and physical processes. Atmospheric Environment is the international journal for scientists and researchers in different disciplines interested in air pollution and its societal impacts. The journal publishes papers on the consequences of natural and human-induced perturbations to the earth's atmospheres, including processes involving chemistry and physics of the atmosphere as well as subjects related to human health, welfare, climate change, and environmental policy. Quality - does the work suffer from obvious quality problems, problems in method (e.g. insufficient sample size) or writing style etc.We try to be flexible with novel papers on air pollution issues even if they don't have atmospheric measurements (e.g. wind tunnel studies, dynamometer studies, remote sensing retrieval etc). Atmospheric Measurement Techniques (AMT) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of advances in remote sensing, in-situ and laboratory measurement techniques for the constituents and properties of the Earth’s atmosphere.The main subject areas comprise the development, intercomparison and validation of measurement instruments and techniques of data processing and information retrieval for gases, aerosols, and clouds. Atmospheric Pollution Research (APR) is an international journal designed for the publication of articles on air pollution. Papers should present novel experimental results, theory and modeling of air pollution on local, regional, or global scales. Areas covered are research on inorganic, organic, and persistent organic air pollutants, air quality monitoring, air quality management, atmospheric dispersion and transport, air-surface (soil, water, and vegetation) exchange of pollutants, dry and wet deposition, indoor air quality, exposure assessment, health effects, satellite measurements, natural emissions, atmospheric chemistry, greenhouse gases, and effects on climate change.

Its aim is to provide a fully peer reviewed publication route for new shorter contributions in the field of atmospheric and closely related sciences. Through its ability to publish shorter contributions more rapidly than conventional journals, ASL offers a framework that promotes new understanding and creates scientific debate - providing a platform for discussing scientific issues and techniques.We encourage the presentation of multi-disciplinary work and contributions that utilise ideas and techniques from parallel areas. The journal publishes original, previously unpublished research reports, reviews and commentaries on various aspects of the boreal environment and its natural resources, in particular: environmental problems, their assessment, understanding and management, as well as the sustainable use of natural resources. Boreal is interpreted in a wide sense, i.e. including polar, subpolar and northern temperate conditions, biomes or ecosystems. The journal is a forum for emphasizing a holistic approach to environmental sciences, linking pressures via sources of pollution to the impacts on the environment through the processes occurring in various media. Articles dealing with monitoring, experimental, theoretical and modelling studies as well as their combinations are all welcome. Theme issues can be put forward using Special-issue proposal form.

Boundary-Layer Meteorology publishes papers on the physical, chemical and biological processes occurring in the lowest few kilometres of the Earth's atmosphere. Boundary-Layer Meteorology has become the primary medium for the publication of theoretical, numerical and experimental studies of the atmospheric boundary layer over both land and sea surfaces.Subject areas covered in the journal include agriculture and forestry, air pollution, air-sea interaction, hydrology, micrometeorology, the planetary boundary layer, surface processes, mesoscale meteorology, numerical modelling of the lower atmosphere, remote sensing, and urban meteorology.
