Based on recent research in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, The Journal of Environmental Education details how best to present environmental issues and how to evaluate programs already in place for primary through university level and adult students. University researchers, park and recreation administrators, and teachers from the United States and abroad provide new analyses of the instruction, theory, methods, and practices of environmental communication and education in peer-reviewed articles. Reviews of the most recent books, textbooks, videos, and other educational materials by experts in the field appear regularly. Not only for teachers, JEE is for those who administer and fund environmental education programs for schools, parks, camps, recreation centers, and businesses.The Journal of Environmental Education invites submissions of unpublished articles about research; program evaluations; review articles; critical essays/analyses and commentaries. JEE seeks to publish material that advances the instruction, theory, methods, and practice of environmental education (EE) and communication. It publishes articles dealing with EE at all levels, from primary to college and community education. Subject areas include the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. The Journal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management is a research journal produced by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) and acknowledged by The Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and The International Academy of Ecological and Life Protection Sciences (IAELPS), which is an associate member of the Public Information Department of the United Nations.

The Journal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management is an international medium for the publication of original research on the environment with emphasis on changes caused by human activities and international research towards sustainability. The scope is multidisciplinary and international and the subjects covered include atmosphere and air pollution control and pollution mitigation technologies, water pollution control and pollution mitigation technologies, soil pollution control and pollution mitigation technologies, entrails of the earth, their protection, waste management, zero-waste technologies, environmental expertise, control over physical and technological environmental impacts and reduction technologies, nuclear hydro physics and radioactive pollution, modelling environmental processes, environmental monitoring, landscape protection, environmental ethics, environmental law and management, quality of indoor and outdoor environment. Besides, it publishes short reports and observations, reviews and bibliography, reports on conferences and workshops.

Publication of the Journal is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania.

Starting from 1995, Journal of Environmental Engineering was published instead of proceedings from the previous research Environmental Protection of Vilnius Technical University (2 issues since 1993). For the period of 1995-1998, 6 issues were published (2 issues per year). From 1998, Journal of Environmental Engineering started to be published in volumes (1 volume, 4 issues per year). Since 2003, the Journal has been published under its current title - Journal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management - (1 volume, 4 issues per year) with proceeded issue numeration accepting the articles in English and Lithuanian.

Journal of Environmental Materials and Sustainable Energy focuses on the various topics and technologies of environmental contaminants, materials, renewable energy systems, and photocatalytic systems. This journal intentionally discusses the latest advances in environmental materials that may enhancement the transition to more sustainable energy systems. It aims to promote interdisciplinary understanding in the environmental and energy fields using different materials. In addition, it also serves researchers to apply alternative energy solutions to current practices.

The Journal of Environmental Pathology, Toxicology and Oncology publishes original research and reviews of factors and conditions that affect human and animal carcinogensis. The Journal of Environmental Policy & Planning is an international journal that provides a forum for the critical analysis of environmental policy and planning. It explores the environmental dimensions of common policies such as transport, agriculture and fisheries, urban and rural policy, all stages in the policy and planning processes from formulation to implementation, and the interactions between governments and markets, the strategies of non-governmental organizations and business in relation to the environment, and land-use decision-making. The Journal of Environmental Quality (JEQ) is a bimonthly journal published by ASA, CSSA, and SSSA. The JEQ editorial board consists of the editor, editors-in-chief of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA, technical editors, associate editors, director of publications, managing editor, and chief executive officer.

The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity provides a coherent international forum for publication of original research or review papers on any aspect of the occurrence of radioactivity in natural systems.Relevant subject areas range from applications of environmental radionuclides as mechanistic or timescale tracers of natural processes to assessments of the radioecological or radiological effects of ambient radioactivity. Papers deal with naturally occurring nuclides or with those created and released by man through nuclear weapons manufacture and testing, energy production, fuel-cycle technology, etc. Reports on radioactivity in the oceans, sediments, rivers, lakes, groundwaters, soils, atmosphere and all divisions of the biosphere are welcomed, but these should not simply be of a monitoring nature unless the data are particularly innovative.Research papers are also included which, by either experimental or theoretical approaches, aim towards an improved understanding of the behaviour, transfer and distribution of environmental radionuclides. Predictive modelling is particularly encouraged. Papers on dating methods are acceptable if they have clear geophysical or geochemical significance. Descriptions of experimental methods should be both highly original and specifically related to determination of low-level environmental activities.The journal provides a vehicle for objective, open and peer-reviewed publication and discussion of the more controversial aspects of environmental radioactivity, including assessments of health effects, criteria for discharge control and options for ultimate disposal of nuclear wastes.Publication in this field is also encouraged in the related book series Radioactivity in the Environment designed to complement the coverage of the journal.

The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part A publishes significant advances and discoveries in all aspects of 'Science and Engineering.' as they apply to environmental problem solving. The Journal addresses topics, including, but not limited to, pollutants, xenobiotics and pharmaceuticals in water, soil, sediment and air, and their impact on human health or environmental quality; their origin, fate, biodegradation and transport in the environment; modeling of environmental biological and chemical systems; environmental toxicology, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry, engineering and hazard/risk assessment; treatment and remediation technologies of water and wastewater, municipal and industrial wastes, leachate from hazardous landfill, toxic and hazardous substances , soil decontamination and treatment of industrial effluents. In addition, the journal also publishes research notes dealing with new methods and/or their development for the detection and measurement of environmental contaminants. The Journal of Environmental Science and Health, Part B provides an outlet for original research reports on analytical techniques or improvements on existing methods applicable to residues of pesticides, veterinary drugs, food contaminants (natural and additive), and other chemical contaminants, and their metabolites in the ecosphere. The journal offers original factual reports on the chemistry, toxicology, persistence, binding, translocation, chemical and biodegradation, and metabolic fate of these chemicals; their effectual contamination of the biosphere; their environmental fate; methods of detoxification; and their toxicological considerations and consequences. The journal also encompasses the development of integrated methods of pest control and various aspects of agricultural wastes, , including treatment and disposal.
