GeoHealth is a transdisciplinary, Gold Open Access journal publishing high-quality original research articles and commentaries across the intersections of the Earth and environmental sciences and health sciences.

GeoHorizons is a new open science book series published jointly by the American Geophysical Union and the Geological Society of London. All aspects of book publishing are handled by the Geological Society Publishing House.

Located at the confluence of two rapidly advancing domains, GeoInformatica provides an effective forum for disseminating original and fundamental research and experience in the expanding uses of computer science for spatial studies. Contemporary Earth studies require more and more sophisticated computing tools, and computer processing of Earth observations through Geographic Information Systems (GIS) currently attracts a great deal of attention from governmental, industrial and research worlds.The journal covers spatial modeling and databases; human-computer interfaces for GIS; digital cartography; space imagery; parallelism, distribution and communication through GIS; spatio-temporal reasoning and more. GeoInformatica presents the most innovative research results in the application of computer science applied to geographic information systems.

Aims & ScopeGeoJournal is an international journal devoted to all branches of spatially integrated social sciences and humanities. This long standing journal is committed to publishing cutting-edge, innovative, original and timely research from around the world and across the whole spectrum of social sciences and humanities that have an explicit geographical/spatial component, in particular in GeoJournal’s six major areas:- Economic and Development Geography- Social and Political Geography- Cultural and Historical Geography- Health and Medical Geography- Environmental Geography and Sustainable Development - Legal/Ethical Geography and Policy

In addition to research papers GeoJournal publishes reviews as well as shorter articles in the form of research notes, commentaries, and reports. Submissions should demonstrate original and substantive contributions to social science and humanities from a geographical perspective. Submissions on emerging new fields such as GeoEthics, Neogeography, Digital Humanities and other emerging topics are also welcome.

GeoJournal’s focus makes the journal essential reading for human geographers working in these areas, as well as for researchers from other disciplines, such as sociology, economics, political science, demography, environmental studies, urban planning, history, and cultural studies.

Last but not least, GeoJournal encourages feedbacks and discussions on articles published in the journal through letters to the editor.

GeoJournal is published bi-monthly in February, April, June, August, October and December.

GeoResJ is a broad multidisciplinary online journal covering all earth and planetary science fields, processes and components, through diverse approaches (eg fieldwork, modelling/theoretical and experimental studies). The aim of this journal is to provide a forum for the rapid publication of the best original research in the field.The journal publishes:• Original research articles detailing significant research and development to advance our state of knowledge of the earth, atmosphere, or planetary systems• Review articlesTechnical articles focusing on cutting edge technical developments that show promise are also welcomed.All submissions will be first evaluated for novelty and usefulness to the scientific community and society at large, before a decision is made to send to review.

GeoStudies is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access online journal welcoming original, innovative research ideas across a wide range of Earth science disciplines focused on understanding the Earth as a system and its interaction with the society. All manuscripts will be treated objectively and in a timely manner to achieve rapid publication and dissemination with a modern vision and presentation.

Geoarchaeology is an interdisciplinary journal published six times per year (in January, March, May, July, September and November). It presents the results of original research at the methodological and theoretical interface between archaeology and the geosciences and includes within its scope: interdisciplinary work focusing on understanding archaeological sites, their environmental context, and particularly site formation processes and how the analysis of sedimentary records can enhance our understanding of human activity in Quaternary environments. Manuscripts should examine the interrelationship between archaeology and the various disciplines within Quaternary science and the Earth Sciences more generally, including, for example: geology, geography, geomorphology, pedology, climatology, oceanography, geochemistry, geochronology, and geophysics. We also welcome papers that deal with the biological record of past human activity through the analysis of faunal and botanical remains and palaeoecological reconstructions that shed light on past human-environment interactions. The journal also welcomes manuscripts concerning the examination and geological context of human fossil remains as well as papers that employ analytical techniques to advance understanding of the composition and origin or material culture such as, for example, ceramics, metals, lithics, building stones, plasters, and cements.

The field of geobiology explores the relationship between life and the Earth's physical and chemical environment. Geobiology, launched in 2003, aims to provide a natural home for geobiological research, allowing the cross-fertilization of critical ideas, and promoting cooperation and advancement in this emerging field. We also aim to provide you with a forum for the rapid publication of your results in an international journal of high standing. Geobios publishes bimonthly in English original peer-reviewed articles of international interest in any area of paleontology, paleobiology, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, (bio)stratigraphy and biogeochemistry. All taxonomic groups are treated, including microfossils, invertebrates, plants, vertebrates and ichnofossils.Geobios welcomes descriptive papers based on original material (e.g. large Systematic Paleontology works), as well as more analytically and/or methodologically oriented papers, provided they offer strong and significant biochronological/biostratigraphical, paleobiogeographical, paleobiological and/or phylogenetic new insights and perspectices. A high priority level is given to synchronic and/or diachronic studies based on multi- or inter-disciplinary approaches mixing various fields of Earth and Life Sciences. Works based on extant data are also considered, provided they offer significant insights into geological-time studies.

Geocarto International is a professional academic journal serving the world-wide scientific and user community in the fields of remote sensing, GIS, geoscience and environmental sciences. The journal is designed: To promote multidisciplinary research in and application of remote sensing and GIS in geosciences and environmental sciences; To enhance international exchange of information on new developments and applications in the field of remote sensing and GIS and related disciplines; To foster interest in and understanding of science and applications on remote sensing and GIS technologies; and To encourage the publication of timely papers and research results on remote sensing and GIS applications in geosciences and environmental sciences from the world-wide science community.
