Australian Social Work is an international peer-reviewed journal reflecting current thinking and trends in Social Work. The Journal promotes the development of practice, policy and education, and publishes original research, theoretical papers and critical reviews that build on existing knowledge. The Journal also publishes reviews of relevant professional literature, commentary and analysis of social policies and encourages debate in the form of reader commentary on articles.Australian Social Work has grown out of the Australian context and continues to provide a vehicle for Australian and international authors. The Journal invites submission of papers from authors worldwide and all contributors are encouraged to present their work for an international readership. Australian Systematic Botany considers papers and critical reviews that aim to advance systematic botany and related aspects of biogeography and evolution of all plant groups, including fossils. Descriptive taxonomic papers should normally constitute a comprehensive treatment of group. Short papers on individual species and nomenclatural papers must contain significant new information of broader interest to be considered. Papers dealing with groups of unrelated species or miscellaneous collections of species are not considered. Numbered series of papers are discouraged. The prestigious L.A.S. Johnson Review Series is published. Other review articles will also be considered.

AJV is Australia's premier veterinary science text and is distributed monthly to over 5,500 Australian Veterinary Association members and subscribers.

The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Art is published by the Art Association of Australia and New Zealand. AAANZ is Australia’s professional body for art and design historians, arts writers, artists, students of art history and theory, and museum professionals. The Journal is Australasia’s principal refereed art history journal. The Journal is dedicated to the study of art history and its various emanations including art practice, theory and exhibition.

The editors seek research papers that engage with critical debates and frameworks across art historical and theoretical enquiry within local and global contexts, plus review essays evaluating publications and exhibitions.

It is a leading international peer-reviewed journal for criminological research. The journal is dedicated to advancing research and debate on a range of criminological problems and embraces diverse, methodological approaches, being home to a wide range of criminological and, interdisciplinary work in the field of crime and criminal justice.

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy publishes relevant, innovative and original articles on the theory, research, teaching and practice of family therapy. All articles are refereed by assessors with generous feedback and guidance provided as well as mentoring for beginning or new authors. Regular features include book reviews and guest issues on topics of interest to readers and practitioners. As a professional journal we aim to further the discipline of family therapy in Australia and New Zealand.

The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ANZJOG) is an editorially independent publication owned by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and the RANZCOG Research foundation. ANZJOG aims to provide a medium for the publication of original contributions to clinical practice and/or research in all fields of obstetrics and gynaecology and related disciplines. Articles are peer reviewed by clinicians or researchers expert in the field of the submitted work. From time to time the journal will also publish printed abstracts from the RANZCOG Annual Scientific Meeting and meetings of relevant special interest groups, where the accepted abstracts have undergone the journals peer review acceptance process.

The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health publishes peer-reviewed research into public health, relevant to researchers, practitioners and policy makers. The Journal has a major focus on Australia and New Zealand but articles from other countries are accepted provided that the implications for Australia and New Zealand are addressed. Authors from Australia and New Zealand are encouraged to locate their papers in the international literature. The Journal is multidisciplinary and aims to publish methodologically sound research from any of the academic disciplines that constitute public health. Articles on research methods and policy development are welcomed.
