Das Berliner Journal für Soziologie, herausgegeben vom Institut für Sozialwissenschaften der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, veröffentlicht Beiträge zu allgemeinen Themen und Forschungsbereichen der Soziologie sowie Schwerpunkthefte zu Klassikern der Soziologie und zu aktuellen Problemfeldern des soziologischen Diskurses. Die Zeitschrift wurde 1991 auf Initiative der ostdeutschen Gesellschaft für Soziologie gegründet. The ISI is unmatched in its global reach among statisticians and those interested in the field of statistics. We are also an association that links national statistical societies, with special focus on the societies in developing regions of the world. A majority of the world's central bureaus of statistics are represented within the ISI network.
