Rheumatology is an international peer review journal publishing the highest quality scientific and clinical papers. The scope of Rheumatology includes a range of rheumatological conditions, musculoskeletal medicine, surgery and translational research. Rheumatology aims to provide very rapid publication of all papers both online and in hard copy.Rheumatology publishes original articles, concise reports, reviews, editorials, guidelines, case reports, clinical vignettes, letters and matters arising from published material.

SLEEP is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific and medical journal featuring a wide spectrum of sleep-related research. The journal is the official publication of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies, LLC (APSS), a joint venture of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society.The primary audiences are clinicians and research professionals specializing in sleep-related disorders. SLEEP publishes 12 regular issues annually, along with a digital supplement featuring abstracts presented at the yearly SLEEP Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies. Subscribers have access to all new and archived issued online. All articles are available to the public free of charge six months after publication.Sleep specialists treat a broad spectrum of disorders, categorized into primary dysfunction of the neural mechanisms of sleep and arousal, pathologies uniquely related to sleep and disturbances of sleep associated with behavioral or psychiatric syndromes. Experts come from a variety of primary backgrounds, including pulmonology, neurology, psychiatry, psychology, otolaryngology, and dentistry.SLEEP publishes original findings and analysis related to sleep disorders, medical dysfunctions during sleep, clinical investigations, therapeutic trials, physiologic events, anatomic structures and molecular components underlying normal and abnormal sleep, psychological and psychophysiologic research, and the pharmacology of sleep.

Schizophrenia Bulletin seeks to review recent developments and empirically based hypotheses regarding the etiology and treatment of schizophrenia. We view the field as broad and deep, and will publish new knowledge ranging from the molecular basis to social and cultural factors. We will give new emphasis to translational reports which simultaneously highlight basic neurobiological mechanisms and clinical manifestations. Much of the Bulletin content will be invited reviews and manuscripts organized as a theme by special guest editors. Also, the Bulletin will carry unsolicited manuscripts of high quality that report original data related to theme issues or where the Bulletin can provide a special venue for a major study.The editorial policy of the Schizophrenia Bulletin generally follows the Uniform Requirements guidelines articulated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (http://www.icmje.org). The journal is published bi-monthly serving readership and contributors from the USA and internationally. Each issue of the Bulletin will be based on a major review and/or one or more themes comprised of 2-5 Reviews Articles covering clinical and basic scientific aspects of the theme area of the issue. Topics for future issues will be announced ahead of time and Original Reports related to the themes will be accepted for review. Some theme issues will be based on workshops and meeting symposia.We consider the Bulletin to be an ideal venue for special reports such as treatment guidelines or the presentation of translational science. The Bulletin will publish the proceedings and abstracts of the International Congress on Schizophrenia Research. The Bulletin will publish first person accounts, At Issue articles expressing opposing views on controversial scientific issues, succinct discourses on clinical and basic neuroscience concepts, and brief essays on the role of specific environmental and genetic factors in schizophrenia. The Schizophrenia Bulletin will continue the tradition of the front cover display of art from artists with mental illness.

The scope of Sexual Medicine Reviews represents the diversity of subjects that define sexual health and sexual medicine, from basic science to practical approaches to clinical dilemmas. Sexual Medicine Reviews are exclusively invited and provide an objective examination of a timely topic in sexual health, from erectile dysfunction, andrology, behavioral therapy, female sexual health, men’s sexual health, to the basic science background for these areas of study. SMR is targeted at the sexual medicine investigator, practitioner, and student or resident; but also explicitly intended to appeal to and serve the needs of a broader audience of general and specialist healthcare providers that have an interest in sexual medicine or need an overview of a specific topic in sexual medicine.

The Journal accomplishes this objective by publishing high quality, evidence-based reviews that support the mission of the International Society for Sexual Medicine.

Founded in 1950 by the Shakespeare Association of America, Shakespeare Quarterly is a refereed journal committed to publishing articles in the vanguard of Shakespeare studies. As of 19 April 2010, submissions are double blinded. Founded in 1922, Social Forces is a renowned journal of sociological research associated with the Southern Sociological Society.
