Environmental Technology Reviews publishes peer reviewed Brief Reviews (up to 5000 words) and Critical Reviews. The length of Critical Review papers is more flexible than for a Brief Review paper, but is usually in the range of up to 12,000 words. Brief Reviews are reviews on a well-defined, specific topic area covering approximately the last five years and the most interesting/significant developments in that area.
Papers are published both in print and online. Accepted manuscripts are generally published online within 1 month of acceptance, prior to appearing in the annual print issue. Environmental Technology Reviews is committed to maximising the visibility of research. All accepted papers can be published Open Access.
