• brain-behavior relationships, especially if pertaining to performance on clinical neuropsychological measures, or if pertaining to a specific disorder
• psychometrics and/or norms of clinical instruments
• forensic applications
• professional issues (e.g., credentialing, education and training, and ethics) and practice-related surveys

2.       Professional discussions. TCN publishes both invited and unsolicited papers that contribute to the journal’s over-arching goal of establishing (and raising) standards of practice.  These include the following: 

• practice guidelines, consensus statements, and position papers that guide clinicians and clinical educators
• invited opinions, commentaries, or discussions
• book reviews (solicited by the Book Review section editor)

3.       Case studies. The Grand Rounds in Clinical Neuropsychology section of the journal is devoted to single case study presentations of interesting, timely, important, or unusual cases. Cases should be instructive and focus on the contributions that competent neuropsychological assessment make in terms of (a) elucidating brain-behavior relationships, (b) determining the functional status of patients, and (c) instructing intervention, treatment, rehabilitation, education, etc.  Essential elements of a case study submission include the following:

• a well-documented history of the patient
• medical/neurologic/psychiatric findings, and neuroimaging (preferred, but not required )
• detailed results of neuropsychological evaluation
• discussion of differential diagnosis and relevent treatment/management considerations

The International Journal of Human Rights covers an exceptionally broad spectrum of human rights issues: human rights and the law, race, religion, gender, children, class, refugees and immigration. In addition to these general areas, the journal publishes articles and reports on the human rights aspects of: genocide, torture, capital punishment and the laws of war and war crimes. To encourage debate, the editors publish Forum pieces and discussion papers from authorative writers in the field. For three and a half decades, The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy has been the flagship scholarly journal in bioethics and the philosophy of medicine. Its contributors and focus are international, addressing bioethical concerns across the world. Significant attention has been given to bioethics and foundational issues in health care policy in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. The journal’s concerns range from clinical bioethics to studies in the philosophy of medicine such as explorations of the nature of concepts of health and disease, as well as the character of medical explanation.

The Library is the journal of the Bibliographical Society. For more than a hundred years it has been the pre-eminent scholarly journal for the history of books, both manuscript and printed, and the role of books in history. All aspects of descriptive and historical bibliography come within its scope, including the general and economic history of the production and distribution of books, paper, printing types, illustration, and binding, as well as the transmission of texts and their authenticity. Westminster Papers in Communication and Culture (WPCC) wishes to engage international scholars in a critical debate about the relationship between communication, culture and society in the 21st century.

WPCC is a peer-reviewed journal, published online. The interdisciplinary nature of the field of Media and Cultural Studies is reflected in the diverse methods, contexts and themes of the papers published. Areas of interest include – but are not limited to – the history and political economy of the media, popular culture, media users and producers, political communication and developments arising from digital technologies in the context of an increasingly globalized and networked world.

Contributions from both established scholars and those at the beginning of their academic career are equally welcome.
