Chromosoma publishes research and review articles on the functional organization of the eukaryotic cell nucleus, with a particular emphasis on the structure and dynamics of chromatin and chromosomes; the expression and replication of genomes; genome organization and evolution; the segregation of genomes during meiosis and mitosis; the function and dynamics of subnuclear compartments; the nuclear envelope and nucleocytoplasmic interactions, and more. The scope of Chromosoma encompasses genetic, biophysical, molecular and cell biological studies.

This journal offers high quality papers on all aspects of chromosome and nuclear biology. Coverage emphasizes accounts of experimental studies of chromosome organization, function and behavior. Chromosome Research publishes manuscripts from work based on all organisms and encourages submissions in the following areas including, but not limited, to: ·         Chromosomes and their linkage to diseases;

Clinical Epigenetics, the official journal of the Clinical Epigenetics Society, is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that encompasses all aspects of epigenetic principles and mechanisms, as well as reports on defects of epigenetic regulation, in relation to human disease, diagnosis and therapy. Clinical Epigenetics studies epigenetic changes in normal and diseased cells in response to internal or external factors with the aim to translate basic epigenetic research into diagnosis, therapy and prevention.

Clinical Genetics links research to the clinic, translating advances in our understanding of the molecular basis of genetic disease for the practising clinical geneticist. The journal publishes high quality research papers, short reports, reviews and mini-reviews that connect medical genetics research with clinical practice.

Part D: Genomics and Proteomics. This section covers the broader comprehensive approaches to comparative biochemistry and physiology that can be generally termed as " -omics", e.g., genomics, functional genomics (transcriptomics), proteomics, metabolomics, and underlying bioinformatics. The Journal of Comparative Cytogenetics is a peer-reviewed, open-access, rapid online journal launched to accelerate research on all aspects of plant and animal cytogenetics, karyosystematics, and molecular systematics.All published papers can be freely copied, downloaded, printed and distributed at no charge for the reader. Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal (CSBJ) is an online journal publishing research articles and reviews after full peer review. Our new journal, Conservation Genetics Resources has been established specifically to provide the rapid publication of technical papers on methodological innovations or improvements, computer programs and genomic resources including, but not limited to, novel microsatellite loci. As a result, Conservation Genetics will no longer be accepting these technical notes, but Conservation Genetics Resources is now accepting papers for review. Conservation Genetics promotes genetic diversity by providing a forum for data and ideas, aiding the further development of this area of study. Contributions cover population genetics, molecular ecology and biology, evolutionary biology, and systematics, among others. The focus is on genetic and evolutionary applications to problems of conservation, reflecting the diversity of concerns relevant to conservation biology. Critical ReviewsTM in Eukaryotic Gene Expression presents timely concepts and experimental approaches that are contributing to rapid advances in our mechanistic understanding of gene regulation, organization, and structure within the contexts of biological control and the diagnosis/treatment of disease. Current Gene Therapy is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed journal aimed at academic and industrial scientists with an interest in major topics concerning basic research and clinical applications of gene and cell therapy of genetic diseases. Cell therapy manuscripts can also include application in non-genetic diseases when cells have been genetically modified.
