International Journal of Differential Equations is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of differential equations.
Most of the research and experiments in the field of engineering have devoted significant efforts to modelling and simulation of various complicated phenomena and processes occurring in engineering systems. IJESMS provides an international forum and refereed authoritative source of information on the development and advances in modelling and simulation, contributing to the understanding of different complex engineering systems. IJESMS is designed to be a multi-disciplinary, fully refereed, international journal.
International Journal of Fatigue covers the full range of scientific and technological issues associated with fatigue. The scope of the journal includes the spectrum of characterization, testing, and modeling of degradation processes under cyclic loading, commonly referred to as fatigue. This includes compromise of functionality with cycling, in addition to formation of cracks and other damage phenomena. Phenomena of interest range from the atomic level to engineering structures or devices, including all classes of materials and material systems.
Articles published Online First within 20 days of acceptance!Free full colour printing! No page limits! The International Journal of Fracture is an outlet for original analytical, numerical and experimental contributions which provide improved understanding of the mechanisms of micro and macro fracture in all materials, and their engineering implications.
The journal presents papers from engineers and scientists working in various aspects of fracture, as well as occasional review papers in these as well as other areas. Innovative and in-depth engineering applications of fracture theory are also encouraged.
In addition, the journal publishes concise Letters in Fracture and Micromechanics which serve the Journal's Objective. Letters include brief presentations of a new idea, concept or method; new experimental observations or methods of significance; short notes of quality that do not amount to full length papers; discussion of previously published work in the Journal, and Letters Errata.
International Journal of Game Theory is devoted to game theory and its applications. It publishes original research making significant contributions from a methodological, conceptual or mathematical point of view. Survey articles may also be considered if especially useful for the field. Officially cited as: Int J Game Theory
International Journal of General Systems is a cross-disciplinary periodical devoted primarily to the publication of original research contributions to system science, basic as well as applied. However, relevant tutorial and survey articles, invited autobiographical articles, book reviews, bibliographies, and letters to the editor are also published. The principal aim of the journal is to promote original systems ideas (concepts, principles, methods, insightful theoretical or experimental results, etc.) that transcend the boundaries between traditional academic disciplines. The term 'general system' in the name of the journal is intended to indicate this aim - the orientation to systems ideas that have a general applicability. Some typical subject areas covered by the journal include: natural language as a systemic or holistic concept, systems modelling, simulation and design; systems complexity and simplification; cross-disciplinary problem solving; and theoretical as well as experimental knowledge regarding various categories of systems, such as adaptive, anticipatory, autopoietic, cellular, chaotic, dynamic, fuzzy, hierarchical, immune-like, learning, neural, quantum, self-organization, self-producing, self-referential, etc. The journal also contains a special area section devoted to intelligent systems. Manuscripts submitted to the journal that the editors do not consider compatible with these Aims and Scope are routinely rejected. All other manuscripts are subject to peer review at the discretion of the Editorial Office. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees. IJGUC addresses grid and utility computing which represent fundamental paradigms for next-generation parallel and distributed computing systems, enabling distant collaboration, resource discovery/sharing, data-intensive applicative infrastructures and high-throughput environments to address on-demand large-scale scientific, engineering, and business problems. Grid and utility computing have significantly contributed to the advancement of cloud computing, e-science, high performance computing, virtual organisations and collaboration, scientific workflows, and service-oriented architectures. They exploit synergies with different areas such as peer-to-peer computing, semantic web, wireless/mobile technologies, and computational intelligence.
The International Journal of High Performance Computing Applications (IJHPCA) provides original peer reviewed research papers and review articles on the use of supercomputers to solve complex modeling problems in a spectrum of disciplines. Topics include: artificial intelligence, climate modeling, cryptographic analysis, geophysics, molecular biology, molecular dynamics, nuclear physics, physical oceanography, plasma physics, quantum chemistry, solid state physics, structural dynamics.
The International Journal of Intelligent Systems serves as a forum for individuals interested in tapping into the vast theories based on intelligent systems construction. With its peer-reviewed format, the journal explores several fascinating editorials written by today's experts in the field. Because new developments are being introduced each day, there's much to be learned ? examination, analysis creation, information retrieval, man?computer interactions, and more. The International Journal of Intelligent Systems uses charts and illustrations to demonstrate these ground-breaking issues, and encourages readers to share their thoughts and experiences.
Much research has been devoted to improving manufactured product quality and manufacturing process efficiency. With recent advances in computer and network technologies, sensors, control systems and manufacturing machines, manufacturing research has progressed to a new level. In addition, new research areas in manufacturing are emerging to address problems encountered in the evolving manufacturing environment.
