Behavioral Interventions aims to report research and practice involving the utilization of behavioral techniques in the treatment, education, assessment and training of students, clients or patients, as well as training techniques used with staff. Behavioral Interventions publishes: (1) research articles, (2) brief reports (a short report of an innovative technique or intervention that may be less rigorous than a research report), (3) topical literature reviews and discussion articles, (4) book reviews. Behavioral Medicine: Relating Behavior and Health is an interdisciplinary journal of research and practice that deals with psychosocial influences on heatlh and behavior. It publishes original research studies, both experimental and clinical; evaluation studies; review articles; case reports; and book reviews. In addition, the journal welcomes three-part, coordinated submissions on a theme topic that deals in depth with (1) a review of the literature on a health problem that can be treated through the use of psychological or behavioral intervention; (2) the evidence from research for the value of the behavioral intervention; (3) an analysis of the policy implications of the therapy and means of introducing it into mainstream training and health practice. The economic impact of new or evolving therapies may be included in the discussion.

The primary mission of Behavioral Neuroscience® is to publish original papers in the broad field of the biological bases of behavior. Research articles cover all aspects of behavioral neuroscience, including * learning * memory * motivation * homeostasis * sleep and circadian rhythms * reproduction * cognitionExperimental subjects include human and non-human animals; studies using non-traditional species (including invertebrates) and employing comparative analyses are welcome.In addition to behavior, it is expected that some aspect of nervous system function will be manipulated or observed, ranging across molecular, anatomical, endocrinological, pharmacological, and physiological levels of analysis.Studies employing brain imaging techniques in normal and pathological human populations are also published.In addition to full-length research papers, the journal also publishes Brief Communications, which must not exceed 3,250 words of text and contain no more than two figures and/or tables. When appropriate, Commentaries on research papers are invited by the editors. Finally, the journal publishes Reviews and Minireviews on any theoretical, empirical, or historical topic related to the role of the nervous system in the production of behavior.

Bioengineering (ISSN 2306-5354) provides an advanced forum for the science and technology of bioengineering. It publishes original research papers, comprehensive reviews, communications and case report. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. All aspects of bioengineering are welcomed from theoretical concepts to education and applications. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. There are, in addition, four unique features of this Journal:, , We are introducing a new concept in scientific and technical publications “The Translational Case Report in Bioengineering”. It is a descriptive explanatory analysis of a transformative or translational event. Understanding that the goal of bioengineering scholarship is to advance towards a transformative or clinical solution to an identified transformative/clinical need, the translational case report is used to explore causation in order to find underlying principles that may guide other similar transformative/translational undertakings., Manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed., Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material., We also accept manuscripts communicating to a broader audience with regard to research projects financed with public funds.

Behavioral Sciences & the Law is a peer reviewed journal which provides current and comprehensive information from throughout the world on topics at the interface of the law and the behavioral sciences. The journal balances theoretical, mental health, legal, and research writings to provide a broad perspective on pertinent psycho-legal topics. Most issues are devoted primarily to one special topic, often presented from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. One special issue per year is specifically targeted toward 'International Perspectives' on the selected topic. In addition, one issue each year is devoted to miscellaneous research articles, special perspectives, book review/essays, adversarial forums, and articles of special concern to practitioners; such offerings are also published in other issues as space permits. The journal also appeals to clinicians, academics, researchers, and policy makers. Five issues are published per year, and articles are published in English.

Terrorism as a tactic has been used by political and ideological groups for thousands of years. Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression aims to address the complex causation and effects of terrorist activity by bringing together timely, consistently scientifically and theoretically sound papers addressing terrorism from a behavioral science perspective, (encompassing biological, evolutionary, developmental, ecological, personality, social, military, and neuroscience approaches to psychology). The journal is not intended as a forum for articles presenting policy or strategy analysis or those highly driven by opinion, but instead will publish empirical and theoretical papers, letters to the Editor and invited visionary pieces by leading experts in the field, which have a strong base in behavioral science research. Behavioral Sleep Medicine addresses behavioral dimensions of normal and abnormal sleep mechanisms and the prevention, assessment, and treatment of sleep disorders and associated behavioral and emotional problems. Standards for interventions acceptable to this journal are guided by established principles of behavior change. Intending to serve as the intellectual home for the application of behavioral/cognitive science to the study of normal and disordered sleep, the journal paints a broad stroke across the behavioral sleep medicine landscape. Its content includes scholarly investigation of such areas as normal sleep experience, insomnia, the relation of daytime functioning to sleep, parasomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, treatment adherence, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Multidisciplinary approaches are particularly welcome. The journal' domain encompasses human basic, applied, and clinical outcome research. Behaviour & Information Technology (BIT) focuses on the human aspects of information technology, on which much of our developed world depends. Information technology extends beyond the internet and World Wide Web, and powers telecommunications (both mobile and fixed), office and industrial systems, consumer products and entertainment. BIT reports original research studies and proactive articles on the design, development, use and impact of this technology in all its forms and in all its applications. Papers are fully refereed and come from a variety of disciplines, including psychology, ergonomics, computer science, sociology and management. The Journal attracts a diverse, international readership from researchers in universities and industry, to systems designers and managers.

Behaviour Research and Therapy encompasses all of what is commonly referred to as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). The focus is on the following: theoretical and experimental analyses of psychopathological processes with direct implications for prevention and treatment; the development and evaluation of empirically-supported interventions; predictors, moderators and mechanisms of behaviour change; and dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments to general clinical practice. In addition to traditional clinical disorders, the scope of the journal also includes behavioural medicine. Behavioural Brain Research is an international, interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the publication of articles in the field of behavioural neuroscience, broadly defined. Contributions from the entire range of disciplines that comprise the neurosciences, behavioural sciences or cognitive sciences are appropriate, as long as the goal is to delineate the neural mechanisms underlying behaviour. Thus, studies may range from neurophysiological, neuroanatomical, neurochemical or neuropharmacological analysis of brain-behaviour relations, including the use of molecular genetic or behavioural genetic approaches, to studies that involve the use of brain imaging techniques, to neuroethological studies. Reports of original research, of major methodological advances, or of novel conceptual approaches are all encouraged. Behavioural Neurology publishes original experimental papers and case reports dealing with disordered human behaviour and exceptional animal studies that have direct implications for understanding human behaviour or neural mechanisms of cognition. These embrace the field of cognitive neurology, biological psychiatry, neuropsychology, rehabilitation, and cognitive neuroscience. The emphasis of the approach is on lesion and imaging studies that explore abnormal human cognition and behaviour. The journal embraces matters of interest to clinicians, such as behavioural neurologists and neuropsychiatrists, and cognitive neuroscientists, neuropsychologists, neuropathologists, neurochemists, therapists, psychopharmacologists and metabolic scientists with a special interest in human neurological disorders. All papers are refereed. Reviews of an area of the literature, and commentaries in areas of current interest, will also be considered for publication. Reviews and commentaries in areas outside behavioural neurology, but of interest and importance to behavioural neurologists, will also be considered. A Clinical Notes section has been added for brief reports of clinical observations that may have important implications for understanding cognitive disorders. Behavioural Neurology also publishes Book Reviews and Short Communications.
