Inflammation Research (IR) publishes peer-reviewed papers on all aspects of inflammation and related fields including histopathology, immunological mechanisms, gene expression, mediators, experimental models, clinical investigations and the effect of drugs. Related fields are broadly defined and include for instance, allergy and asthma, shock, pain, joint damage, skin disease as well as clinical trials of relevant drugs.

Innate Immunity is a highly ranked, peer reviewed scholarly journal, first published as Journal of Endotoxin Research (JER) in 1994 as the official journal of the International Endotoxin Society (IES). Over 10 years of being known as the IES, the society recognised a significant increase in research in innate immunity not related to endotoxins. In response to this the society became the International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society (IEIIS) in 2005.The journal’s coverage has changed in line with the society, and it increasingly publishes articles dealing with innate immunity research not related to endotoxins. A joint decision was made between the publisher and the IEIIS to re-launch the journal in 2008 with the new name Innate Immunity, to reflect the broader range of coverage of the society and in the journal.Publication Charge from July 2010:Innate Immunity has seen a large increase in the number of submitted manuscripts in recent years. In order to publish this important research in a timely manner we will be increasing by 33% the number of pages in each volume. After consultation with the Editorial Board and recent authors, we will cover the increased cost of production by introducing a charge of $230 for all accepted papers. The subscription price will remain at its current level in 2010.IEIIS President Alan Cross adds, "The International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society supports the move to introduce publication fees for Innate Immunity. This change will enable the journal to publish more high quality articles every year, and reduce the publication times for important new research"In rare cases of genuine financial hardship, exemptions may be made at the discretion of the publisher. To provide a venue for research that affords new insights into biological and biophysical questions, from the nano to the macroscale, through the application of quantitative methodologies and novel enabling tools. Authors must provide an Insight Statement of fewer than 120 words to explain the relevance of their work in terms of Biological Insight, Technological Innovation and the benefit of Integration.

The International Journal of Biochemistry & Cell Biology publishes articles in all areas of contemporary cell and molecular biology and biomedical research. This includes cellular and biochemical mechanistic studies of cells, cell organelles, sub-cellular molecular pathways and metabolism.We welcome manuscripts that provide novel insights into basic cellular and molecular processes or disease pathogenesis, and encourage submission of manuscripts with relevance to bioinformatics, nanobiology, synthetic biology, or complexity science. We encourage inclusion of in vivo studies and integrated systems approaches to better understand the cellular and molecular basis of whole-organism physiological and pathological processes.The journal publishes original research papers, invited reviews, In Focus articles, and short communications. The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene is a peer-reviewed journal published monthly by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and consists of two complete, sequentially numbered volumes each calendar year.

International Journal of Cell Biology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of cell biology.

Experimental Pathology encompasses the use of multidisciplinary scientific techniques to investigate the pathogenesis and progression of pathologic processes. The International Journal of Experimental Pathology - IJEP - publishes papers which afford new and imaginative insights into the basic mechanisms underlying human disease. IJEP publishes papers on in vitro work, animal models, and clinical research. The key objective is to report on work that addresses the common theme of mechanism at a cellular and molecular level. IJEP publishes both original experimental investigations and review articles. Journal of Anatomy publishes original papers, invited review articles and book reviews. Its main focus is on contributions to understanding development, evolution and function through a broad range of anatomical approaches. Articles covering bioinformatics and other topics that clarify or provide tools for functional anatomical understanding will also be sympathetically considered. Priority will be given to experimental studies, to contributions based on molecular and cell biology, and on the application of modern functional imaging techniques. Studies that are essentially descriptive anatomy will only be published if the Editors consider that they are of functional significance. Journal of Anatomy also publishes Brief Communications: these are brief papers (up to 3 journal pages) that present new ideas or data of particular originality and timeliness. The editors will also consider publishing Letters (1-2 pages) on scientific issues of clear relevance to the scope of interest of the Journal.

The Journal of Cell Biology is an international peer-reviewed journal owned by The Rockefeller University and published by The Rockefeller University Press.In the early 1950s, a small group of biologists began to explore intracellular anatomy using the emerging technology of electron microscopy. Many of these researchers were at The Rockefeller Institute of Medicine, the predecessor of The Rockefeller University. As their work progressed to publication, they were disappointed with the limited quality of halftone image reproduction in the printed journals of the time, and they were frustrated by the narrow editorial policies of existing journals regarding their image-based results. In 1954, the director of The Rockefeller Institute, Detlev Bronk, convened a luncheon to discuss the creation of a new journal as a venue for publication of this type of work (Porter and Bennett, 1981).

The Journal of Cell Communication and Signaling (JCCS), the official publication of the International CCN Society (ICCNS), aims to serve as a forum for translational research. In particular, it wishes to publish papers discussing cell-cell and cell-matrix communication as well as intracellular signaling that are particularly important to understanding how cellular behavior is converted to pathological states.
