The Journal publishes original refereed papers, review papers and correspondence in the fields of skin and cosmetic research. It is read by practising cosmetic scientists and dermatologists, as well as specialists in more diverse disciplines that are developing new products which contact the skin. The aim of the Journal is to present current scientific research, both pure and applied, in: cosmetics, toiletries, perfumery and allied fields. Areas that are of particular interest include: human safety testing of skin, hair and oral products, physical chemistry and technology of emulsion and dispersed systems, theory and application of surfactants, new developments in olfactive research, aerosol technology and selected aspects of analytical chemistry.

The International Journal of Green Nanotechnology is a unique open access journal addressing important challenges and latest advances in the chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and other scientific aspects of green nanotechnology as well as on their societal impact and the policies that have been or should be developed to address them. It has three primary foci: biomedicine, materials science and engineering, and physics and chemistry. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The International Journal of Nanomedicine is an international, peer-reviewed journal focusing on the application of nanotechnology in diagnostics, therapeutics, and drug delivery systems throughout the biomedical field. Reflecting the growing activity in this emerging specialty, the aim of this journal is to highlight research and development leading to potential clinical applications in the prevention and treatment of disease.

The International Journal of Pharmaceutics is the journal for pharmaceutical scientists concerned with the physical, chemical and biological properties of devices and delivery systems for drugs, vaccines and biologicals, including their design, manufacture and evaluation. This includes evaluation of the properties of drugs, excipients such as surfactants and polymers and novel materials. The journal has special sections on pharmaceutical nanotechnology and personalized medicines, and publishes research papers, reviews, commentaries and letters to the editor as well as special issues.Editorial PolicyThe over-riding criteria for publication are originality, high scientific quality and interest to a multidisciplinary audience. Papers not sufficiently substantiated by experimental detail will not be published. Any technical queries will be referred back to the author, although the Editors reserve the right to make alterations in the text without altering the technical content. Manuscripts submitted under multiple authorship are reviewed on the assumption that all listed authors concur with the submission and that a copy of the final manuscript has been approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities in the laboratories where the work was carried out. If accepted, the manuscript shall not be published elsewhere in the same form, in either the same or another language, without the consent of the Editors and Publisher.Authors must state in a covering letter when submitting papers for publication the novelty embodied in their work or in the approach taken in their research. Routine bioequivalence studies are unlikely to find favour. No paper will be published which does not disclose fully the nature of the formulation used or details of materials which are key to the performance of a product, drug or excipient. Work which is predictable in outcome, for example the inclusion of another drug in a cyclodextrin to yield enhanced dissolution, will not be published unless it provides new insight into fundamental principles.

Journal of Aerosol Medicine and Pulmonary Drug Delivery is the only authoritative journal focusing on aerosol use in medicine, new drug delivery systems, cutting-edge research, and new innovative therapies and clinical applications. All aspects of aerosol research in medicine are covered including pulmonary drug delivery, airway reactivity and asthma treatment, inhalation of particles and gases in the respiratory tract, toxic effects of inhaled agents, and aerosols as tools for studying basic physiologic phenomena.

The Journal of Asian Natural Products Research (JANPR) publishes chemical and pharmaceutical studies in the English language in the field of natural product research on Asian ethnic medicine. The journal publishes work from scientists in Asian countries, e.g. China, Japan, Korea and India, including contributions from other countries concerning natural products of Asia. The journal is chemistry-orientated. Major fields covered are: isolation and structural elucidation of natural constituents (including those for non-medical uses), synthesis and transformation (including biosynthesis and biotransformation) of natural products, pharmacognosy, and allied topics. Biological evaluation of crude extracts are acceptable only as supporting data for pure isolates with well-characterized structures.All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two expert referees. Nanotechnology, dealing with functional structures and materials smaller than 100nm, is emerging as a truly interdisciplinary research area spanning several traditional scientific disciplines. In keeping with the growing trend, there is a strong need for a platform to share original research related to applications of nanotechnology in biomedical fields. In order to fulfill this demand, Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology (JBN) is being created as an international peer-reviewed periodical that covers applications of nanotechnology in all fields of life sciences.
