Bioinformatics is a new scientific discipline that combines biology, computer science, mathematics, and statistics into a broad-based field that will have profound impacts on all fields of biology. It is the comprehensive application of mathematics (e.g., probability and graph theory), statistics, science (e.g., biochemistry), and computer science (e.g., computer algorithms and machine learning) to the understanding of living systems. IJBRA addresses the most innovative developments, research issues and solutions in bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications.

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules is an established international journal of research into chemical and biological aspects of all natural macromolecules. It presents the latest findings of studies on the molecular structure of proteins, macromolecular carbohydrates, lignins, biological poly-acids, and nucleic acids. The scope further includes biological activities and interactions, molecular associations, chemical and biological modifications, and functional properties as well as development of related model systems, structural including conformational studies, new analytical techniques, and relevant theoretical developments. All papers are required to focus primarily on at least one named biological macromolecule. The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene is a peer-reviewed journal published monthly by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and consists of two complete, sequentially numbered volumes each calendar year.

International Journal of Cell Biology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of cell biology.

As the leading archival journal devoted exclusively to chemical kinetics, the International Journal of Chemical Kinetics publishes original research in gas phase, condensed phase, and polymer reaction kinetics, as well as biochemical and surface kinetics. The Journal seeks to be the primary archive for careful experimental measurements of reaction kinetics, in both simple and complex systems. The Journal also presents new developments in applied theoretical kinetics and publishes large kinetic models, and the algorithms and estimates used in these models. These include methods for handling the large reaction networks important in biochemistry, catalysis, and free radical chemistry. In addition, the Journal explores such topics as the quantitative relationships between molecular structure and chemical reactivity, organic/inorganic chemistry and reaction mechanisms, and the reactive chemistry at interfaces.

The Journal publishes original refereed papers, review papers and correspondence in the fields of skin and cosmetic research. It is read by practising cosmetic scientists and dermatologists, as well as specialists in more diverse disciplines that are developing new products which contact the skin. The aim of the Journal is to present current scientific research, both pure and applied, in: cosmetics, toiletries, perfumery and allied fields. Mining bioinformatics data is an emerging area at the intersection between bioinformatics and data mining. The objective of the IJDMB is to facilitate collaboration between data mining researchers and bioinformaticians by presenting cutting edge research topics and methodologies in the area of data mining for bioinformatics. This perspective acknowledges the inter-disciplinary nature of the research in data mining and bioinformatics and provides a unified forum for researchers/practitioners/students/policy makers to share the latest research and developments in this fast growing multi-disciplinary research area.

Experimental Pathology encompasses the use of multidisciplinary scientific techniques to investigate the pathogenesis and progression of pathologic processes. The International Journal of Experimental Pathology - IJEP - publishes papers which afford new and imaginative insights into the basic mechanisms underlying human disease. IJEP publishes papers on in vitro work, animal models, and clinical research. The key objective is to report on work that addresses the common theme of mechanism at a cellular and molecular level. IJEP publishes both original experimental investigations and review articles. Recent themes for review series have covered topics as diverse as 'Viruses and Cancer', 'Granulomatous Diseases', 'Stem cells' and 'Cardiovascular Pathology'.
