The Journal of Membrane Science provides a focal point for academic and industrial chemists, chemical engineers, materials scientists, and membranologists working on membrane systems. The journal publishes original research and reviews on membrane transport, membrane formation / structure, fouling, module / process design, and processes / applications.Primary emphasis is on structure, function, and performance of non-biological membranes; papers bridging the gap with biological membranes are also appropriate. The Journal of Membrane Science publishes Full Text Papers, State-of-the-Art Reviews, Letters to the Editor, and Perspectives.Reviews: should not only summarize the key research contributions in a field, they should also provide critical evaluation of the scientific literature. Review papers are intended to provide archival guidance and direction for the broad membrane community and are thus held to the highest standard for publication.Perspective articles: should provide a focused discussion of an important area of membrane science and technology, emphasizing recent developments, future challenges, and/or new opportunities. Perspective articles will be by invitation only, and they will be reviewed by at least one Editor of the Journal and one member of our Advisory or Editorial Board.Authors interested in submitting a Review Article or Perspective paper should contact one of the Editors prior to submission to discuss the scope and appropriate of the proposed contribution.Endorsed by the Aseanian, European and North American Membrane Societies.
The Journal of Separation Science (JSS) is the most comprehensive source in separation science, as all areas of chromatographic and electrophoretic separation methods are covered. This includes fundamentals, instrumentation and applications, both in analytical and preparative mode. A Tradition of Excellence: JSS continues the tradition of excellence set by the Journal of High Resolution Chromatography (HRC) and - since 2002 - the Journal of Microcolumn Separations (JMS). Journal Features & Highlights:
Materials Advances is an international, gold open access journal, publishing high-quality research across the breadth of materials science. The journal accepts experimental or theoretical studies that report new understanding, applications, properties and synthesis of materials, building on and complementing the materials content already published across the Royal Society of Chemistry journal portfolio. Submissions are handled by our high profile associate editors, all of whom also look after submissions to Journal of Materials Chemistry A, B & C. The Materials Advances publishing experience comes with the reputation, standards, commitment and expertise you would expect from an RSC journal, plus the visibility boost that comes from being open access and part of the Journal of Materials Chemistry family.
Membranes (ISSN 2077-0375) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal of separation science and technology. It publishes reviews, research articles, communications and technical notes. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided. There are, in addition, unique features of this journal: manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas will be particularly welcomed electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure - if unable to be published in a normal way - can be deposited as supplementary material
At the heart of open access for the global chemistry community. RSC Advances publishes advances in chemistry, and in topics of interest to the chemistry community.
Reaction Chemistry & Engineering is an interdisciplinary journal reporting cutting-edge research focused on enhancing the understanding and efficiency of reactions. Reaction Chemistry & Engineering is a unique forum for researchers whose interests span the broad areas of chemical engineering and chemical sciences to come together in solving problems of importance to wider society. Papers that consider multiple scales, from the laboratory up to and including plant scale, are particularly encouraged.
This international journal deals with fundamental and applied aspects of separation processes related to a wide variety of fields. Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Inc., 325 Chestnut Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Separation and Purification Technology is a publication dedicated to the dissemination of separation research results and findings. Its coverage extends to all aspects of separation and purification of homogeneous solutions and heterogeneous mixtures. Separation and Purification Technology welcomes, from investigators worldwide, contributions focused on the experimental studies and theoretical analyses of phenomena associated with and arising from separation and purification as well as process development and simulation, equipment design and fabrication and materials preparation and modification used in separation operations. Of particular interest are articles aimed at solving separation problems encountered in the emerging technologies including biotechnology, green technology, energy storage and conversion, and resource recovery and recycling. Authors who wish to contribute a review paper should send an abstract to one of the Editors prior to submission of the full paper.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. South African Journal of Chemical Engineering, SAJCE, aims to be the principal open access journal for publication of high quality, original papers in all areas of chemical engineering. The journal is fully international with contributions encouraged from both within and outside South Africa. In addition to publishing full research articles the journal also welcomes review papers and shorter communications.
The journal has a particular interest in publishing papers on the unique issues facing chemical engineering taking place in countries that are rich in resources but face specific technical and societal challenges, which require detailed knowledge of local conditions to address.
Core topic areas are:
• treatment and handling of waste and pollutants
• the abatement of pollution, environmental process control
• cleaner technologies
• waste minimization
• environmental chemical engineering
• water treatment
• modelling and simulation of reactors
• transport phenomena within reacting systems
• fluidization technology
• reactor design
• classic separations
• novel separations
• novel synthesis of materials or processes, including but not limited to nanotechnology, ceramics, etc.
