It is devoted to preparative organic chemistry, organometallic compounds, and procedures generally related to synthesis. The mission has always been to assist the practitioner by publishing reliable and reproducible procedures of the highest standards. OPPI has published articles in every area of preparative organic chemistry, from innovative new technology to nuts-and-bolts improvement in traditional synthesis. Along with experimental papers, the Journal publishes authoritative reviews on significant topics in synthesis. Organic Process Research & Development serves as a communication tool between industrial chemists and chemists working in universities and research institutes. As such, OPR&D reports original work from the broad field of industrial process chemistry and chemical engineering but also presents academic results that are relevant, or potentially relevant, to scale up and industrial applications. Organometallics is the flagship journal of organometallic chemistry and records progress in one of the most active fields of science, bridging organic and inorganic chemistry. For the purposes of this journal, an "organometallic" compound is defined as one in which there is a bonding interaction between one or more carbon atoms of an organic group or molecule and a main-group, transition, lanthanide, or actinide metal atom (or atoms). Following longstanding tradition, organic derivatives of the metalloids (such as boron, silicon, and the like) are included in this definition. Furthermore, manuscripts dealing with metal-containing compounds that do not have metal–carbon bonds will be considered if there is a close relationship between the subject matter and the principles and practice of organometallic chemistry. The journal publishes fundamental studies and work that pushes toward translational research on the synthesis, structure, bonding, chemical reactivity, and reaction mechanisms for a variety of applications:

Pharmaceutical Research, an official journal of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, presents papers which describe innovative research spanning the entire spectrum of drug discovery, development, evaluation, and regulatory approval. Small drug molecules, biotechnology products including genes, peptides, proteins and vaccines, and genetically engineered cells are an integral part of papers published here. Current emphasis of the journal includes the following areas: preformulation; drug delivery and targeting; formulation design, engineering, and processing; pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacogenomics; molecular biopharmaceutics and drug disposition; and computational biopharmaceutics, among others. Pharmaceutical Research publishes twelve issues a year.

Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements welcomes submissions involving the organic, inorganic, and biochemistry of phosphorus (including arsenic, antimony, and bismuth), sulfur (including selenium and tellurium), and silicon (including germanium and tin). In addition to research describing new chemistry of a particular element, especially welcome are presentations emphasizing relationships between elements and families of elements: for example, research comparing synthetic, mechanistic, or structural features providing new insight leading to a more rapid advance of science in these areas. Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) is an international journal co-owned by 19 physical chemistry and physics societies from around the world. Polymer Chemistry welcomes submissions in all areas of polymer science that have a strong focus on macromolecular chemistry. Polymer International publishes on new developments in all branches of macromolecular science and technology. The journal covers original research on biopolymers, polymer chemistry, polymer physics and industrial polymer science.

Polymer Science is published since 1959 under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Polymer Testing provides a forum for developments in the testing of polymers and polymeric products and is hence of interest to those concerned with testing rubbers and plastics in research, in production and in connection with the specification and purchase of products.The journal covers all branches and aspects of testing, including new apparatus, new techniques and standards, together with their application to quality assurance and product development. The accent is on testing so that statistical experiment design and the relevance of methods in generating design data are covered; papers which report measured data of value to designers and technologists are also welcome.The scope of the journal extends to all rubbers and plastics, including cellular materials, composites and polymeric based adhesives. All types of test, physical and chemical, are included from those on the basic polymer to the testing of products. There is equal concern with tests used in research and tests used every day in the factory.Despite the range of materials, products and type of test, there is a common bond between workers involved in, or concerned with, the testing of rubbers and plastics. Polymer Testing provides a forum for publication of their work and discussion of matters of mutual interest which are not given full attention in other polymer technology journals.
