Chem Soc Rev is the Royal Society of Chemistry's leading reviews journal. The scope of applications include nanomaterials, energy production and storage, biotechnologies, nanomedicine, drug delivery, environmental sustainability, adsorption separations, catalysis, electrochemistry, food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and cosmetic products.

Colloid and Polymer Science - a leading international journal of longstanding tradition - is devoted to colloid and polymer science and its interdisciplinary interactions. As such, it responds to a demand which has lost none of its actuality as revealed in the trends of contemporary materials science. To enable an effective and fast dissemination of scientific manuscripts, four categories of contributions are presented:- Invited review articles

The latter will be published with high priority, at least within two weeks after acceptance of the manuscript. (The usual time between acceptance and publishing OnlineFirst is typically three weeks.) CompComm accepts manuscripts reporting creative concepts and new findings in design, state-of-the-art approaches in processing, synthesis, characterization and mechanics modelling. In addition to the traditional fiber-/particulate-reinforced engineering composites, composites with outstanding physical, mechanical and fracture properties, and unique functions and thus significant application potential, such as biomimetic and bio-inspired composites for biomedical applications, functional nano-composites for thermal management, energy harvesting and storage, composites for extreme service environments are encouraged.

CompComm also publishes Composites Views that are short overviews written by leading scientists covering exciting and innovative topics of general interest to all researchers in the field of composites.

The journal offers rapid publication of review articles on topics of current interest and importance in coordination chemistry. The term coordination chemistry is interpreted broadly, and includes aspects of organometallic, theoretical and bioinorganic chemistry. In general the reviews survey developments in a particular area during the last few years, or discuss the results obtained with a particular technique.Special issues are published from time to time on topics of current interest and importance. These special issues may also focus on contributions from a specific country or area of the world, or contain the proceedings of invited lectures to major international conferences. Full book length articles also appear occasionally. The journal also incorporates special volumes containing annual reviews of main group chemistry, on transition metal group chemistry, and on organometallic chemistry. CrystEngComm is the forum for the design and understanding of crystalline materials. It publishes studies on the investigation of molecular behaviour within crystals, control of nucleation and crystal growth, engineering of crystal structures, and construction of crystalline materials with tuneable properties and functions. All papers should involve the use or development of a design or optimisation strategy.

Dalton Transactions publishes high-quality original research, theoretical and computational studies that significantly advance the field of inorganic chemistry. EES Catalysis is a premier journal, publishing high-quality experimental and theoretical catalysis research for energy and environmental applications. Delivering the same impact and influence which researchers associate with the Energy & Environmental Science brand, EES Catalysis is transdisciplinary, publishing globally impactful energy and environmental catalysis across all scientific disciplines including chemistry, materials science and engineering. Electronic Structure is a new multidisciplinary journal covering all theoretical and experimental aspects of electronic structure research, including the development of new methods.
